Hello Everyone, I'm back to working on personal folio pieces again. I got clearance to work on creatures created by Dave Melvin (http://scorge.cghub.com/) for my portfolio. Here are some WIP shots of the Blooper, and exotic whale type creature. I hope to get this creature rendered in real-time soon.
Decided to try my hand at making some stuff for Dota. This is going to be a Batrider mount. Which, if you think about his name, doesn't make any sense since it's a bird, but I'm okay with this.
Nice work Swizzle! I'd just make the edge feathers a lil bit more close of each other on the wings.. I don't know what is the tri count for this, but well, it may be a hell for you later

TeriyakiStyle looking great....I would consider scuffing up that wolf head on the jacket just a little, just to bring the underlying leather through and ground it on the jacket.

it could work as a courier or as an item for the beastmaster, however, its way too detailed, i'd remove every second feather and make the remaining bigger - its too easy to fill that game with visual noise :X

Starting texture work on my SC2 inspired gun. Working on the Chrome right now, trying to get that blue burnt chrome look. Anyone know what that shit is actually called? Its in Marmoset atm
Currently practicing my hard surface modeling by doing a science fiction-style compound bow. Was going to make a gun or something but a bow sounded way more fun. Here are some very non-charming viewport screenshots of where I'm at right now. Unsurprisingly trying to figure out how the midsection's going to look.
And yeah don't question how that scope works too much.
SebastianK, it's actually very possible to attach a scope to a bow. It's not too terribly uncommon for bow hunters using compound bows to use things like red dot sights and the like.
I took Neox's advice and removed and resized some of the feathers for this thing. I also did a lot of other small tweaks. Going to get to retopology soon.
