Female Studie 923123423 after all this female studies i am finally starting to see some results. still need to do more 9000 just to get the hang of it :P
Metal looks like it could use a bit of fake sheen/reflection maybe?

I havent posted anything in ages! Im lazy/busy/asleep most of the time but im making a push to do a bit more short sculpting bits and bobs now that ive gained a bit more speed.
sculpted this fella thursday night, based somewhat on one of Laurel Austin's fantastic Dragon concepts (although it needs a lot more work to live up to it )
I'm probably gonna turn this into a bit of a lunch project at work to finish it.
And as a bit of a hair practice, I sculpted this girl last night. Had a lot of fun, I love hair swirls, definitely gotta do more.
I think the contrast in color between weapon and the character is a bit too extreme, especially for the the scabbard. I'd suggest making the shield and the sword a little darker to make them feel more consistent with the character.
Otherwise great work, the texture on the armor is damn near perfect, keep it up!
hey rayph, you're always killin it with the linework, but the white on white figures and background imo is killing the presentation. i think at least keeping the figures on the dark side would do a ton.
I think paul himself tended towards this on his quake 4 days, and it looks great imo.
Aimbiz thats awesome! I love it. Is that a bell? or a mace? I love the idea of him walkin around ringing his bell and shooting his belly cannon. Rad work!
Kisel: like these chars a lot *G*
JFletcher: supercool, both dragon and woman!!
Renaud: nice that you continue! it's totally worth it
Arno: nice! but something makes it bit flat.. could be the lighting combined with the background color..
KMiklas - lovelly work
Renaud - already so much potential
fletch: dear god man....stunning stuff Jon
Rayph : love the linework, my fav sort of concept to work from
besides the trousers, hands, face, hair, sword, silly fingerless glove things, and dagger I think I'm nearly done with the high poly
I thought it would be time to post something on this inspiring forum. I did some game modeling in the past. But found out that sculpting is a really natural and pleasant way to create art. So I started with some Preston Blair characters to practice. The top one is the most recent.
It's been a long while since I've posted anything, but I am diggin all of your beautiful artwork! I recently finished up an internship working at Disney Interactive, and I wanted to share some of my lunch crunch Zbrush sketches. They usually went about 30-40 mins each. I posted some of the time-lapse vids on youtube; if you're interested you can check them out here: http://www.youtube.com/user/easyraw
Keep up all the awesome, you guys! I am seriously humbled every time I log on to PC.
Got in the mood to do some environment stuff again focusing right now on making a small visual target scene that has most of my key building blocks in it and then go full scale on the project.
Everything is pretty rough, spend about an hour per asset/texture right now and will go back and bring in some details later on

Blocking out the smaller stuff on my current project

Looks great! Very clean so far.
That is one spectacular hair sculpt! Hope to see it finished.

Love the style and nice material definitions.
At first glance I thought it was a 3D Model! It's very nice indeed
