Trying to get on an art workshop, need to show them a static mesh+textures. Work in progress so far. Not liking he rocks at the sides, might redo them.
I've said many times I need to practice and usually don't follow through with it. Having said that, I mean it this time! SO, since everyone gets an obligatory AR (or AK) here is my take. For now I'm going to focus on the high poly, and then most likely do a low + bake and make some nice textures for it. I'm basing this off my real steel version, so I have a pretty good reference guide to work from. I submit to thee Polycount!
Looking nice but I miss the atmosphere of the Shire.
I made a contrast fix of one of your screens and some information for you.
The blue is your current breakup, the green a more interesting one. Move your camera to the left and focus on that little house on top.
Try to check you color balance with saturation on in the post process tab of your world properties.
Hi everyone!
I've been working for a wile on this project I had in my head. Sculpting and texturing is done in ZBrush. Rendered in 3D Max using Vray.
So what do you think?:)
I love this, It's amazing! Really fits with the warcraft style, it's a nice throwback to the vanilla paladin sets and I love the color scheme, A+ work!
So I scratched the camo pattern and just went with an off color coyote brown. More critiques are welcome although the EOTech is still in the works, really wanting to flush that guy out more!
started an endless journey into madness by making fan art of the SC2 Terran Marine. The design really dropped my jaw when i first saw it, so i wanted to eventually make a study of it, it's been a blast so far, but dem details...
Gonna redo the shoulders and midsection after i finish the initial modeling pass, the head is a placeholder for now.
Low poly Little Sister WIP (from Bioshock). She is 650 tris with a 512 x 512 texture map. I want to have her finished tomorrow so that I can move on to other things, but she's been fun to make!
Not really enough to start a thread yet. Decided to recreate a scene of my childhood, the famous Vykker's Labs from Munch's Oddysee. Unfortunately the HD Remake didn't do it justice, so I did
awesome job everyone!
love the Substrata Land Dwellers fightpunch!
nice job on Cossack so far Seth
this is Alyonushka, tried my hand at some WoW Paladin fanart XD
diffuse only
shots from Marmoset, she's 3,368 tris, the hammer is 594 tris, and the shield is 528 tris.
the body and stuff in on a 512x512 texture, while the shoulder armour, helm, hammer, and shield are all on a 256x256 each
had a lot of fun texturing her
Get her posed man!
Awesome work This just diffuse? Or is there a Normal map in there too?
And starting on another weapon. I've been in the mood for weapons lately.
Very early stages. It's a tomahawk sort of axe. Decorative, and functional.
Not quite sure how to get the Mother-Of-Pearl right, but I'm getting there, slowly!
The blood is just for fun. I'll have a version with and without.

Anyone wanna buy some Gum-rot?
*Snip*
I prefer Parmite Pies, Personaly
Loved the original oddworld game. One of my all time favorite games made. The ones that followed were ok.
Looking forward to the scene you have planned in the oddwolrd style though! Good luck.

I think you should change the wood on this - looks like wood used on a coffee table or something, not what you would see on an axe/hatchet
thank you so much Miche, Sel, and palm sheckee, thanks! she's just a diffuse garriola83, i got her rigged, i'll try to get around to posing her later, need to finish something else first ^_^
beezul, amazing as always! you make me want to model them
YBourykina- i lovveeeee that model you just finished. i would love to see some close ups of the bust. did you model underneath the hood? would also love to see them texture flats
dont start modelin yet hahahaha. way more females and males comin soon XD
Nice and gritty guy there Luke_Starkie, I'd check the height proportions abit with arm length etc and those back muscles & clavicles, the trousers also have alot of unusual crease shapes that seem to have been tailored that way rather than fallen due to being weight dependent. Keep it up tho fella
Man... YBourykina those are some tasty textures :poly142:
Buahaha nyx702 that is genius!
Bah I've been out of practice with the handpainted style for so long and subsequently suck so much ass am gonna take a break and continue with ma chick, come back with fresh eyes.
I need to give that Keyshot ago, zbrush rendering is not so friendly.

nice pistol
As it stands, I've hardly touched the wood. I'll be experimenting a lot to find the right look. Some tomahawks, though, do have shiny handles like that; but then usually the axe-head is really smooth, shiny, and detailed too, to suggest it's just for show. this one doesn't suggest that, so you're right.
A rough preview-print on a Japanese Garden Lantern I've been working on, it's for a larger project me and my Brother (lando_viggo) are working on, will probably post a thread about it next week or so!
Huuge amount of bonus points to anyone who can figure out what it's for
Hint: The Kanji, it's a "fanart", and it's from a game!
Trying out sketchfab. Sculpted and retopoed this tree yesterday. Texturing tomorrow probably and will add plants. Also need to resculpt the top and back.
Here is a little assembly Gif I made of a Planter Box I will soon be building in real life for my back patio. Lets hope it all comes to together as easily as it does in this image.

I am about to call this done, I never found out what he has on the end of his chains so I am leaving it like this I think. Crits are welcome! Cheers
Posing up Esmy from Cryamore.
I made this little Sci-Fi airlock in roughly 15 hours.
