here is my free tut that uses max,ps,audacity, and unity. It is aimed at low level designers that use max and adobe. my goal was to get this done for my portfolio while helping junior artists such as myself with the ultimate goal of being featured in the polycount recap (best of luck to me).

Love what I'm seeing here, specially all the 3D models with Sketchfab.
I've been working on this a while. I have been able to work on it only for two sessions now but its coming along nicely. Just need to tweak a few things here and there. Next step is texturing. Still a bit hesitant to jump right in.

Looking pretty good so far. There are a few things that you could fix up though. I think the main thing is that the baggy skin on the jaw makes the character look older. because of this I would imagine the bones in the cheek bones to be more apparent unless the character were a bit heavier but the body does not give off that impression. Keep up the good work.

That's really cool. I'm liking the style you used for this and it is very well displayed. The only thing that puts me off is that the mouth is a bit small. Regardless, good work.

I know the back skin tone is more likely to be different from the ass and downwards but the corset creates a sharp contrast between the two, perhaps a tiny bit of a gradient on the back to merge them visually? Great stuff otherwise

Nice stuff, everyone. I started working on a new character a few days ago. It's based on an idea I had a couple of years ago;
The idea came about from RPG games where you loot different pieces and then just wear them, regardless of them being a full set or not. Ulf likes to loot/steal stuff. He likes to drink as well.

I finished the low poly mesh and UV map of my elf statue thing, I'm planning on making it a normal map using a high poly sculpt soon, but these shots here are just rendered using an old stone material of mine in UDK
Its been a while since my last animation but I thought this is the best character to return to the great world of 3D animation, It was really funny to model a Minion from Despicable me but its going to be awesome to move it!
Modelled in 3DsMax (low poly model around 2000 tris), rigged with CAT, made in a couple of days with 2048×2048 texture maps.

been working on a game for a couple of months now. gonna have a vertical slice kinda thing done in a week or so, so I decided to replace the character in the game with this robot guy I modeled yesterday.. the current character is a boring male/female (who knows) kinda thing..
animated him (it?) today, those are about the animations that are required.. gonna have some additive animation on the idle, for blinking eyes and just changing up the loop over time .. and maybe some variations

Started texturing today for this piece. I'm trying a technique I saw recently for the skin. I still need to further refine details. Gonna try and finish the texturing process and the hair by this week.
