Cross post from the art jam new theme incoming tomorrow!!
Heres my interpretation of Chun Li for the 'Street Fighter' theme, run out of time due to being insanely ill so theres a few things I wish I could fix up but oh well haha, onto the next
Wow. Amazing. I love the perfects forms mixed with the perfect amount of detail, and the character in her face.
It seems like you do some very light projection painting on faces etc. Do you do that as you go, or once you are semi-finished?
First in-game screenshots of EXILED the upcoming game of Knitted Pixels, it's still in pre-alpha but it's looking really good.
EXILED its a 2.5D Action Platformer focused on Fighting combat like combos and special moves and some RPG elements.
The story follows a renegade demon who is trying to gain his way back to Hell.
And as it was on Defenders of the last colony, thank you so much for supporting a couple of polycounters (Sergio Santos and I) who really wants to make their own games, stories and adventures.
Fightpunch - Awesome as always. I like the layered effect you put into the clothing designs.
Seven - He's looking great. I've been on a kick lately drawing characters with those same gorilla proportions. I like the angular look of the beard too.
Managed to find a bit of time on the weekend to paint.

Anyways, one of my favorites here in a while.
Cheers man
I usually get the poly paint in about halfway in once I'm happy with the forms, then it helps me pull things around and notice things I didn't in the untextured version but switch it off alot so to make sure the forms don't get washed out as you can hide a bad sculpt pretty easily under a good polypaint.
tanyutka: Nice scene, I really like the mood so far!
fightpunch: ahh awesome concept would be cool to work on this..
seven: haa! Is it the father from Brave or I'm just halucinating? ace proportions, and cool style.. especially the hair! I'm wondering how you did it..
Here is what I'm working on at the moment, it's Garrosh Hellscream from the warcraft universe
I'll probably post some wips, and progress for those who are interested on my thread here on PC http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=116004
This is a new guy I'm working on. He's <650 triangles and ready to party. Need to finish the rig so he can get to it.
prototyp3 I LOVE this!
Cordero - Great texture work, especially on the face. right now the contrast is so high between the shoulder pads and the face that I only see the pads first and not the character. I'd darken the pads overall and/or lighten the character's highlights to get them in a similar range.
Beautiful work flows like water here.
I drew some robots for fun!
any feedback or critique is not only welcomed, but appreciated.
I like the bottom left a lot, looks like something out of Warframe kinda. I guess if I had to critique anything, it'd be that some of the pieces seem a bit chaotic in a compositional sense (upper two), like there's no clear dominant form or flow? I'm not very good at words right now. Maybe try experimenting with some paint schemes or different gray shades to make certain areas pop over others.
Was modelling a tree and got carried away with an idea i had' so did a quick mess around with 3D & 2D intergration for stylising. Its not finished so ignore the stretching at the bottom :poly124:
Cannon model overall looks good, I think your spec needs a working over, the wood seems way too glossy. Also, did something happen to the normals on the wood frame ends by the back castor block?

been working on some fanart of Lux from League of Legends, still needs some face adjustments to not make her look like a psicho
more to come once keyshot gets done doing its thing

yes, the bg is all modeled too.
@Praetor187 - Very 'sexy'... The sculpting I mean...
That is super nice! The composition and lighting are so good!
One more version.
I finished him a couple of months ago, but never posted him and decided I should!
So here's my finished CEC Engineer!
crosspost of another shot of some updates to my scene, going slow

I really like this. :poly142:
The soft warm lighting adds so much atmosphere.
tanyutka: It looks awesome, but I think your latest version may have too much bloom.
Here's my little bubble tank I started a while ago:
I agree, really good detail balance !
little something i did a few months ago, not exactly game related, but i was so stoked to have worked with 2000AD that i had to share it!
mean machine angel collectible for 2000AD
SO I had a few days free and hammered out
First time using UDK and some of the normals didn't come in correctly for maya but I wasn't too bummed about it.
NY Cab (click to view in 3D)

I didn't finish it yet. Still needs an interior and some texture work.
If you have any ideas about how to treat the coloring and patterns, I would love hear them !
Cheers!

Here is a new thing from me. Based on my friend's comic character he's been working on for quite some time. Zen!
