Here are some Textures i'm working on these days. Bircks and tiles have been sculpted in Zbrush before.
Colors are not totally defined yet, i put a simple color to have the gobal idea.
Hi there! I finally decided to show off some of my environments I created for Gears of War: Judgment I will post much more, when I'm done with my DLC map. I will try to give a credit to everyone who helped me achieving final quality of this stuff For now, here are few shots - hope you like it:
Oh, don't bother looking for this website - it won't work for a while yet :poly121:
Test renders of a sculpt test on doing the fabric panels which will be under the metal panels. I had really just sculpted their main shapes out, no details. To get more details at closer distances to the camera I'll need to divide the model more so I am going to scrap this and redo it with geometry modeling.
Well here is the ALMOST high poly. Just gotta do his boots and I think that is it. Just thought I would post him up before I hide out in a hole for the weekend.
Have a great weekend
Results of some testing in trying to achieve a realtime global illumination/color bleeding effect for UDK. By all means not efficient at all, main reason was to freshen up some coding skills.
Drumlord it's looking good, but I agree with Parth. Shifting the weight forward will give him that classical 'pirate looking through scope' look.
Beyond that, I really don't think that the foot inside the chest is a good idea. First, it's a caricature, so the chest should be full of gold! Second, it just looks goofy in comparison to the ultra-competant pirate bird standing on a pile of gold.
Anyways, would love to see the finished print.
You guys are absolutly right, thank you very much for the feedback!
I made a few updates on the model. This is my first character, so i'm moving on baby steps.
Please let me know what you guys think.
I just blocked out some of the volumes to see how it all would fit together and made this quick turntable to get some feedback;
Shit gif that probably doesn't play at the right speed...
*edit*
Drumlord, what about moving the bird back a bit so the leg is resting on the side that's further away form camera/closer to the centre of the piece. That way the bird won't block the chest with his leg. Would also be closer to the concept. Love that thing btw, looking forward to seeing it done.

Polished this a tad more for the 'folio.
Multiplied a couple max viewport settings together:
Still need to create some guns before i can call this model complete
I always underestimate how long unwrapping takes me :I
I ended up just sculpting on the base of my escape woman, and did some projection. Like how it turned out.

Erf, so much awesomeness in the last pages ^^.
I'm improving my "face sculpting" skills. Here is the Jessica Rabbit I sculpted some months ago, and then the new one I did yesterday...
Old ( click it motherfucker, I dare you, I double dare you ):
