How to get Z depth from a camera taken 2D image (texture)?
Is there a way to get a zdepth image (like z depth pass from 3D rendering) but of (from) a "normal" 2D image taken by camera (specifically probably some texture taken by photographing, like texture of a rocky ground etc.)...? And if yes, can i even adjust "the focal point"... etc. where the "blacks" and where the "whites"… -
setting pivot to z=0?
hey folks, is there a quick and painless method for setting the pivot of any object to it's lowest z value? I have to export a ton of objects where the bottom of the mesh must be at Z=0 and there's got to be a quicker way of doing it rather than by hand. -

Lets say I have a low poly mesh I want to detail in z brush. If I were to make different versions of the low poly mesh for morph targets. could I apply the alterations in z brush to my new low poly meshes to make a bunch of high poly morph targets ? would they still be valid as morph targets? -

UE3 Normal maps and z mapper
Hi, Anyone found the right settings for z mapper to make ue3 friendly normal maps. Do you know if anyone has made a config file for z mapper that works well with UE3, i'm having there are seams showing in the map, and they render fine in zbrush and 3d max. Thanks in advance if anyone has advice. -
