Hello @pretorius64 , Is there a particular scene that is slowing down for you? is this just general usage? Can you try one of our demo scenes and see if you experience the same issues? What version where you using prior to updating? We can take a closer look if you're so inclined, feel free to email us at…
Hi all, after looking at some concept art from Star Wars the old republic, I thought I'd take a crack at recreating one of their scenes but with a bit more damage to the scene compared to their clean and sparkling environment in the art. The scene will be presented in UDK when its finished. Here's a very quick draw over of…
Got a minor problem that I was hoping that you guys from the forum could help me with. I have been having major issues with the quality of my renders in UDK while making sample sheets. The problem is that whenever I am done with making an environment I usually just isolate the prop(s) in the scene and either delete or make…
Hey guys, It's been a while since I did any personal projects. I've decided to create a big scene which refers to many anime styles. With main focus on the scene being spaceships from Cowboy Bebop series. And the rest of environments based on many cool concepts I found online. The main style I'm going for is inspired by…
I have a character that has a bunch of procedural textures on him and I've been importing him into all the scenes of my animation that I had animated earlier with an older version of that character. First couple of scenes, everything was fine, but now, the animation somehow managed to break all the procedural textures. I…
Hello, I'm doing a 3D Visualisation module (Using 3DS Max) as part of my university course and wanted to get some tips on how to basically use HDRI in my scene. The vehicle I've been modelling just has the mental ray "Carpaint" and some chrome "Arch and Design" shaders. I researched a few things but never really had any…
Added a bunch of random clutter items to fill out the scene. Kinda wanted to be done with this by now but I'm having fun making stuff. mostly worked on some smaller assets on the walls and desk areas. Tried to make it feel very lived in and cluttered in a way that only teenagers can achieve current asset locker:
Nice, that other Chris posted some good points before I was done writing. This is a pretty great level overall. I like the overall palette, feel, setting and soundtrack. The video itself: All of the best shots in this video don't have god-rays and are focusing on a visual point of the area. All of the god-rays shots are…
Id remove the toon stuff, if its old school stuff you don't need it, people say your portfolio is only as good as your worst piece :) The victorian chair is a nice prop but the render is letting it down, its very flat and grey. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/eLBaJ https://www.artstation.com/artwork/0VGBK You've got…
My favorite scene of yours is the ancient statue model one, but the low res versions of those really kill the scene, even though the high poly versions look great. I'd suggest doing a version of that scene without the low res version, throw in the high poly version if possible or just ditch it. Other than that you have…
