hi , in 3dsmax i want to do automatic smoothing group but its too time consuming to go to editable poly and give number and set smooth group. can somebody make script to asign smoothing group 30 or 40 degree automativc. i want have button on my personal toolbar for 30 and 45 degree automatic smoothing group . tnx alot
Hey all, how do you export your files from Maya to Unity ? I only have my Lambert1, so it's made to be simple. But when I import my fbx in an empty scene in Maya, I have a Lambert2 created on top of it, so it brings some problems: I have some strange texture when importing in Unity :(

After google had to settle with Getty Images, there's no more view images-button in google searches. I find this quite annoying when searching for references images, but what alternatives do you guys use when searching for references? I don't like pinterest too much, since there's so many small images there.
So currently im designeing a rubber tire material. And i want to make some version with snow and without snow. But i didnt know how the hell can i put snow inside it. Any idea? I havent made the rubber too so any tips on creating random small cool scratches would be greatly appreciated
