Hello. Here is my current progress of a swamp environment I been working on for fun and exploring techniques in maya 2018 using the stringray pbr shader. I'm too lazy to put it into a game engine or I just like the fast editability of maya
Pretty good materials! The grass could use a normal axis change to make it not so abrupt and transition into the ground easier. As for the overall piece maybe focus on a few compositional shots, at the moment its lacking a little bit in having an area of focus or interest. Overall its looking quite good and really good job with materials / modelling
Thanks for the feedback Stanley. Ya I was struggling with creating some focal points in the level, I think i might need to play around with the layout composition. The environment is also huge so that made it a bit challenging. Ya I'll need to fix the foliage so it looks less abrupt transitioning into the ground.
