awesome animations fonfa, really cool stuff
I'm making an office based series of animations, I'm planing on making a little endless runner out of it eventually where you smash your office up at the start to create a multiplier and then your chased out of the building by security.
you have to jump over all the usual things like peoples desks, lazy co-workers and filing cabinets before getting caught by security and thrown out.
writing it down just now is giving me a matrix vibe, you know the bit when morphus if on the phone to neo? never mind...
Made a little video about the new 1.15 version of Last Knight, it features randomly generated hats! It works through a mixture of randomized colors, vertex deformations, mesh variations and material defined variation.

The hats are all free and can be found in the game and also shared outside of it.
It's definitely looking good! There are a few adjustments I would make though.
Silhouette wise, I would maybe add a couple more poly's to the tip of the knife. I don't know how that would cut through something, unless your going for a more machete feel? But you would need more teeth for that. I would just looks the ultra low poly feel to the tip and do the same treatment you did for the base of the handle (except more sharp of course)
Right now the knife seems to have the same level of specularity. I really think you could tone down the handle part more, that way the metal will really pop. Also I would add some sort of detail normal to the handle, looks pretty flat. And lastly, you should do a stronger pass of wear and tear to show more history to the knife. Unless your going for brand new, and if that is the case, I would tone down the sort of grunge dirt you have on the metal and make it a nice clean reflective surface.
Hopefully this helps and I can't wait to see further progress
I made this for the Planet To Planet Fanart Challenge where we had to take an existing extraturestrial franchise and make a fanart piece of it .
I made this millitary prawn based on the prawns of the awesome movie District 9

This is killer! Your specular is so sharp and uniform in color that it makes it look like a plastic toy, and as a result he appears smaller in scale as well.
My first texture, I made it for a leaflet I am working on and I am thinking of also using it in my vehicle design. C&C really needed on this one please guys.

hmm good point, i tried to break it up a bit but i guess it wasnt enough , thanks for your feedback ^^
It might not be a good idea to mirror the texture on the blade if there is going to be text on it. One side will always have backwards text, which is a little weird. Other than that, lookin good.
I would like to share with you all my Zbrush IMM Hair strip brush I made (referencing the technique that Artist Tom Parker used in his hair test). Please enjoy and share! CLICK HERE!
@steve0 - Thanks! I'm liking the look of your grass, nice form on the baldes. @NanoTurtle - Cheers, I've added a render with wires below @CrackRockSteady - Thanks man!

Its a good low poly but the texture on the handle needs work, where you going for wood or resin?

I swear, compiling beauty shots takes as much work as producing the work.

All of these are a WIP and being used in Miscreated.
The scope still needs to be "beaten the hell up"
