Hi there, i want to share my latest artwork called "joker cowboy".
basically it was from comicon last year that i didn't finish.
Hope you all like it. Cheers
To me, the iconic tank profile. But I'm kind of old
Lots of conflicting reference which is taking more time to sort out than it is to model it, but I hope I can get it done soon. Triangles ~2.9M! This is really only my second hard surface model, I'm usually just doing little odds and ends for game levels that don't really amount to much in terms of technique but the Leica Challenge inspired me to start tackling bigger stuff.
Finally can be done spamming polycount with this:
Still, I'd like some critique, so when next I start a project, I can take the tips into account. Comments have been few and far between so far, unfortunately.
@ ParoXum that's looking loads better! Loving the dramatic lighting that goes with the composition. Just a bit hard to tell what the whole scene might be...Swett.
Weekend sketch. Hope the likeness is there and he's recognizable:
Nice sculpt but he's not like perfectly as Anakin. This pinch on the nose seems not legit.
Glad to see some SW fan art, I hope you will modelise the body and the Lightsaber .
MTFBWY.
"grew up oogling it!" HAHAHA makes me feel so old!
Thanks, I might archive it somehow. Not sure yet. I just love the idea of starting fresh.

Please don't delete it! Just dump it somewhere in a folder far far away, put a tiny link to it on your site (or make it an adventure game type pixel hunt fo the link ) so we can still go there and oogle
PatrickL - Nice looking scene. Looks like you have a lot of nice details. I think the area that needs some work is lighting. Looks like you have some fires and manybe some moon light? I'd push the contrast a bit more in terms on light intensity and in light color. Making the moon light a bit more blue and the fires a bit more orange. It think the sky could also benefit from this. Right now it all kind of looks the same tone. Some gradations would help.
Almost finished with my charmander redesign (Cinematic). I handed him off to a buddy of mine to rig him up, and create the fire particle effects for his tail. Going to render out a tiny segment with him once he's finished.
PatrickL : yes you've got a lot of work in there. Take a look of the values of the scene though...
And as Tim mentioned, lighting is going to be a big factor in breaking up the background, midground and foreground. Where a lighting source is not possible (because it defies plausibility), then you have to readdress the value of the texture in those areas.
Also you're scenes have a focal point, but they could be pushed much further.
Nice job though and I look forward to seeing more.
This is my first post in this thread, and also my first texture job on a character. I'm pretty much done with this one so if anyone provides feedback I will be sure to take notes for the next project. Render is from Marmoset.

Looking good!
Another crosspost from my thread:
Started working on some of his clothing, at the moment just blocking it out :

Insektoid wip, zbrush
still more sculpting work, and then i'll polypaint it too.

Keep up the nice work!
also some random more speed drawn stuff:
tileable tiles!

Thinking about making a low-poly outta this guy
Do you have this textured or painted or whatever? It looks so bad ass :P
Neox - sorry about that :P

Keep up the awesome everyone.
Owns!
Just getting the hang of Xnormal and Xoliuls shader. It's been almost 5 years since I authored any "next-gen" characters.
