Today i was playing around with toolbag and some very oooold model of mine its so old that i start to doubt in render-lifting of it but want to know is it worth to put it in folio marked as OLD
@Hatred. great proportions there dude. really well grounded. at first glance i thought it could be a take on an aged and bellied up Sagat ( which would be a fun idea in itself )
Here's a landscape I've been working on in Unreal. Heightmaps generated in World Machine. Thanks to choco for his awesome tutorial, which has significantly improved my workflow.
If you have time, please check out my thread for another piece I'm working on as well.

Not exactly game art, but my 2 fan-art images of respectively Diablo and Starcraft has been featured on the official facebook pages and twitters! Such a rush
@ Jaco: Rock'n Roll. Looks pretty spot on to me. Tyrion is my favourite Game of Thrones character (both book and TV) and I think you are doing him real justice. No real crits but a whole lotta love.
Dang...I really need to check out Choco's tutorials again. That stuff is looking hot.
I've been working on some ways to paint hdr skyboxes via exposure layers into painted sky textures instead of relying on finding (or creating) HDR sky probes.
Progress on this one. I should low poly this, but the temptation to move on is strong!
This is instantly recognisable from the suit and hair - they're spot on - but her face is feels big and masculine. Perhaps it's how sharp the change in direction of the jawline is as it nears the back... not entirely sure.
Ha, funny you should say that - the last thing I did before rendering was dial down the spec and desaturate it some :P I thought it looked too ridiculous!
Ooh, cool. I love Starcraft
One thing that stands out to me is that right now, it lacks a bit of depth, and
I think you could try to separate the foreground a bit from the mid ground.
that background looks cool with the space and planets, and the rocks that appear mostly as silhouettes.
Keep it up! The command center is looking cool I like the lightning on it.

Hey, that's dope, Jason! Once you perfect this I'd love to see a little breakdown of how it's made. Gotta look into hdr imaging.
Great work!:)
Started on this today, still very much WIP, any crits would be welcome
Damn you!! I'm working on him too and he doesn't look near as good as that. Only thing I would say is make his cheek bones less pronounced, give him slightly more fat in his cheeks, he looks too chiselled currently.
Jaco! that looks great man! already such a rocking likeness, i agree though about the cheek definition
moof, ive been loving these paints man
envelope: that sky is hawtness man I'd love to see that breakdown
I've seen how much people dont like girls with animal ears from a couple games haha but I decided I'd post this Horo fanart up before it gets lost when I lock myself away in my Hazardous thread lol. I wanted to do some anime fanart and I was listening to some youtube playlist when the theme to Spice and Wolf came on and I thought it'd be cool to put another timelapse to it haha.
I like 'whirly' sculptural compositions and wanted to fail less at sexy-looking-down eyes so those were my goals. I'm always down for crits!

Made somme pants from start until this, still need to add details like stitches and stuff like that, but pretty pleased with it :
Pretty cool! What matCap is that?
this is a lighting test of the small cinematic I am doing... http://vimeo.com/39979287

most of the stuff its being modeled with cam proj, so I dont need to do much high res, except the objects on spot...like the chairs.
If you have time, please check out my thread for another piece I'm working on as well.

Wow, fantastic, Zpanzer! Congratulations! It's well earned.

Been working on this cannon. Finished it up tonight. I had a lot of fun working on it. Cheers!

The rope looks very thin, to hold back this massive iron cannon.
I want to thank 3D Motive for their awesome tutorials and Paunescu Daniel from here.
What do you think ?
Bit scatterbrained
love the style and flow of these!!!!
dude get some specular and some more colour and material variation on there, its just too boring at the moment but could really pop with a few tweaks
I'll make some tweaks this evening!

I agree, would love to see a breakdown. Love the idea.
