Twoflower, your art is really getting good, think you could get some more depth in it though. Remember to use blur, less vs more detail, less vs more hue and more forground elements too give it that.
You know those annoying times when the sprinklers goes off in an emergency, with no fire in sight? Anyway, thats my excuse for the rain in this picture.
Yeah, happens to me all the time when i meet my neighbor sith lord in the student coridoor. I still have no clue as to why he still lives in a student cooridor thought. You would think as a sith lord you could come up with an better apartment
Thanks Erik. Great advice i'll keep that in mind! Im mostly just using hard edge brushes so i often forget to make parts more blurry to give em depth. Shall start to try incorporating some more soft brushes to my drawings
Yeah it does kinda look like he is holding it that way doesn't it? Oh well, a speedpaints a speedpaint, not to sure I wanna get in there and change anything.
Cool vid and painting Twoflower, you are really getting the hang of landscapes
Good start there Erik. i don't know if you just mistyped the texture res but you you should use 2048 instead of 2038
aioconx: your poses are really good, like the colors on the dragon aswell
day 129 some fanart for the game Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery. if you like retro adventure games with awesome music and art you should check it out : )
Twoflower: "Good start there Erik. i don't know if you just mistyped the texture res but you you should use 2048 instead of 2038" sorry man thats tris, triangles not res. My texture is 1024.
Thunderent: upload anything man, we can give you feedback on how to improve. Look more at perspective, the previous one you painted had way better sense of depth.
@ aiconx, I'm a big fan of your Day 70 sketches! There's something very appealing with the two-tone way you drew them
Edit: What I think that makes it appealing to me is firstly ...the simplicity... as well as the combination between using the FeltPen and paintbrush that you applied. The women is well done. Love it!
