School exercise. Altar made to run without dynamic lighting on a psp (Well obviously can run on a ipad too)
Polycount have to turn around 1000-1500 tri.
hey nordahl154 you could maybe add a small internal frame piece that secures the mesh to the panelling that might kick it up a knock and make it feel a bit more manufactured. Also a slight cloud multiply over the spec of the grating could break things up a little more
Striker, terrabite.. thankyou for posting such great images, initally made me a little grumpy, but then swiftly inspired me to really push hard on mine
Shush fisher, i love your char ! awesome design. You oughta be wary about the boots, they kinda style the attention. Each time I look at your model, my eyes are attracted to her boots.
speedy of the day
Trying a more anime/comic style...this is pretty hard !
P.S. If you haven't backup your important data on a separate hard drive or other medium,do it right now ! I was so close to loosing all of my data, it is not a good feeling . Backup.

BetelGeist - Thats the plan baby, just need a starting point with it flat.DEN...when its all textured up..BAM....FLOW DAT SHIT.....................h o p e f u l l y
Jeremy Tabor - Thanks man, boobies make the world go round.
got a lot of work to do still. Adding more detail. Gotta figure out how to add grass and various plants. Im filling the house (well to scale) with furniture, replacing the materials with textures, AND adding various items like tools and all that. Maybe put it in a scene or something with two trees. Not sure yet. any comments? I feel the columns dont really fit the peasant-y look im going for.
Here is a character bust I am working on - an remake of the Light Guard from Quake 2, one of my most favorite shooters of all time.
I call it remake instead of re-imagining because I want to capture the original feeling of the character. It is far more trickier than I thought because today't technologies tend to push artists to make stuff more "rounded". Older game characters has really elegant silhouettes "thanks" to the low poly-count.
I am still exploring and deciding if I should make it into a in-game assets or just leave it as a high-poly exercise. Would like to know what your guys think.
@duncan: are you sure that it is still a man in the suit? That could be Joker's long lost son.
All this character art - Better break it up a bit!
Think I've finished this little diorama now
Pretty happy with it for about 10 days work (doing a few hours each day - dammit dayjob). Learnt a hell of a lot about vegetation and getting stuff to work nicely with tessellation in CE3 too
Getting this 3D printed soon, then maybe casting a mold to make more.
Once you print this, let me know because I would love one copy as well! Where are you getting this printed, if you dont mind me asking?
As for my contribution to WAYWO, I fired up sculptris and did this sketch of a prothean. I will be working with it during my lunch breaks. Any crits are more than welcome!
