@EVIL: Yes, it is. She's got such a perculiar face I'm finding it hard to pin down. I'll investigate with a paintover to see if I can make sense of it. Nice Darksider Mace btw - dig that mouth of teeth!
@MrNinjutsu: Thank you! I was wondering how best to tackle the hair and wondered if Zbrush's Fibermesh could produce small curls? I'll give it a bash and if it doesn't pan out, then a solid sculpt will suffice.
@SharDCG: That's an awesome character! Texture work is top notch. Agreeded with Stromberg90 abotu the base - maybe some dropped bags of coins?
Which reminds me to ask: Why do I miss "Deae Lunae" on your soundcloud page? love to listen to your stuff will working, but I don't really like youtube as a "media player" :poly121:
I usually post my WIP stuff on soundcloud, and my finished stuff on youtube. Now youtube has an autoplay playlist feature that's really nice, it's not bad for a media player.
Hi guys this is something I made a while back, but decide to redo the post processing
Im not sure about the writing on the wall and the whole "crazy joe really did go crazy" backstory so please tell me what you think.
Your scene is great! I think you need to tone down the lighting a little. It's blown in a few places. It almost looks like your gamma settings are off. I really love the scene though.
Liked fear 2 i take it? Looks like your trying to recreate one of the scenes in the underground after the hospital.
BTW is this some sort of mod because i recognize some of those assets. Namely the door, frame, and the texture on the crates.

Indeed, FEAR and FEAR 2 was massively inspiring to me, the lighting, mood and story was amazing in my view. I thought this would be an interesting scene to try and recapture .
*edit* nope, not a mod, all the models and textures I made . They are simply based off the game.
Been painting this here portrait of a famous plumber we all know and love for some time, it's a tribute to Nintendo and a massive tribute to Dave Rapozas work on the TMNT
Here's a preview, he's almost done, about 70-80%, the last stretch is left! The original is in 300 DPI :P Look forward to it!
Iv spent way to much time on her and im just going to push her out of the way and move onto something else all im going to do now is make her hair short with plans instead of maya hair or fibers. Would love some comments and critiques.
@ Lando_Mange: very cool mario! I'd say it looks done now. Looking forward to the end result, you should definitely make a series of these
@ericdigital: looks good so far. Are you doing this for real time rendering? If not you could try using fiber mesh if you're using zbrush.
Also, here's a project I'm working on. It still needs a lot of work and I could use some comments or suggestions on particular things to improve. (I am sorry that this is a cross post)
hey guys!
its been some time i posted some work here. i have posed and rendered the Dark Tower katet characters!
its always nice to see great quality work in polycount! keep it up guys
@ravenslayer: I love how you sculpted it, what all brushes did you use? It looks somewhat stylized at present, and I'm loving it.
@Dalarcon: She's looking great, but something that sticks out to me would be somewhat broad-ish shoulders (could just be me though). Looking good so far!
Also, basically my first time doing anything hard surface. I'd love to improve on it, feedback would be appreciated.

Absolutely love the first one (Dregs). Especially the beginning with all those funky distorted tunes. Very powerful song. It has been on my playlist for a few weeks so I've probably listened if for good few hundred times now I think I heard it first time on some indie game's trailer or something?
Toyshop is also good but it's a bit more less memorable or a bit monotone in comparison and doesn't build up as nicely as Dregs does. But that's of course just a personal preference. It's a good song nonetheless.
Did you compose these for any particular purpose? I'd imagine them on some movie trailer or soundtrack.
Hello everybody! I am a new here and in modeling itself too! Would you guys help me a little?
So i am working on the revolver model -
Here is it - http://i.imgur.com/zl0EX.png
And i am wondering - how can i add some small details to the handle grip in Softimage XSI like this http://i.imgur.com/pXXoj.jpg

It's nothing special just a quick photosourced texture but it works fine
Hey guys! Here's the finished high-poly to a quick personal project I'll be working on over the next week. Let me know what you think.
Here is a little recon drone that I started last night. Still needs lots of work.

I might do a series of these given time I guess one could call this a remake of my older Plumber Mario concept from less than a year back!(http://teamlando.deviantart.com/art/Super-Plumber-Mario-220860853 and http://teamlando.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=24#/d42c9uf)
Comments and crits always welcome

Oh I can just say WOW, I love these. Would be cool to try to animate those kind of characters. Good Work
Just a little progress on the interior.
yeah totally ben afflec!
Reminds me of oldschool coldcut 3d models... although they had to make them look like that, yours is plainly for style, which is nice.
These are so awesome, would love to see them in motion (and an environment in the same style).
Looking great Wahlgren, very clean.
