JeremyRM: Very nice work (top notch "assets" too), but I don't think her elbows would be able to bend very far with the upper arm and forearms armor having so little space between them at the joint.
It's a small dev. board for an 8 bit microcontroller. I tryed to design it as modular as possible to reuse it in many projects I want to accomplish. i have 10 pcs.
Saves a lot of work, and money.
First thing will be a selfmade adressable LED driver for my home with bluetooth to
controll it from my android tablet.
Cool stuff Chris! On the nature bandwagon too :P Barrels and wagon are just from UDK to get an idea for the scene. Need to make the waterfall today and tweak the water
Tinkering in UDK tonight, made a forest. It's a rock, tree, bush, terrain and water plane in UDK's midday lighting.
Man, those trees make no sense.
Their shape is coniferous, like a big pine tree, but it has leaves. A tree like that probably couldn't exist in nature.

great environment.. awesome stuff.
just two little crits. the bloom is a tad too strong, makes it straining to watch.
and in the last few sec. leaves fall from the sky (i assume coz of wind), but the big tree is completely stiff.
chrisradsby: the assets look great when they're in focus but i would fire your DP immediately. Camera and dof ruin it. You'd be better off using stills.
Which reminds me to ask: Why do I miss "Deae Lunae" on your soundcloud page? love to listen to your stuff will working, but I don't really like youtube as a "media player" :poly121:
NBLM> Cool stuff! How do you feed the pattern of lights you want to produce? Like parsing some input you author on a computer or what?
Yeah, either parsing from a pc or tablet in real time, or save pre-made sequences from the pc on the microcontroller(so he can run the lights standalone), what I would prefer.
Will the eyelids work that way or should I close the eyes more and open them later in the model?
Depends if you're going to be animating him or just having him for your portfolio. If for your portfolio just leave them open. If he's getting animated I'm guessing it would depend on whether you want to have the eyelids as separate objects or use morphs if your engine supports them? With morphs i suppose you would want the eyelid closed a bit more.

Great work everyone!
Kewl!
Is that hardsurface sculpted in zbrush?
So had some fun blocking in a head trying to get that likeness, I think the eyes are currently killing it.

Mayan stone brick,1024x1024 map is just for fun.
3dfm all the armor was made in maya, with a damage pass in zbrush.
With a fucking metal matcap!
That's so hardcore. So metal. ; )
Are they meant for anything special, or are they just practice?

and look at images of the Arizona Desert
Because I think that is what you are going for. those rocks are Very Saturated I would tone em down just a bit.

Flattered that you used my song, man!
Just for future reference to anyone, my songs are fair game for anyone's projects (unless stated otherwise).
it's such a great song , how could I not?
is not the end result. Just a color, normal map and a little specular. Quick render in marmoset)
Especially bad looking tracks.
Crosspost from my thread
Which reminds me, Did I post these here already?
Well here they are in case I didn't
