I agree with Alberto, now a bunch of people will want to try out your scene Razorb, it reminds me of Brink as well !
I was saying that Skilduff's image was depressing because of its message about how we run our world...

Thanks tagobarantino! I just use good reference first an foremost and sculpt in the main shapes/folds in a lower subdivision then go higher and polish things up. Mainly clay brushes and then a little inflate, pinch, and ClayPolish here and there.

I have beeen driving up and down the motorway a lot of late, so would welcome something like that after returning home:)

Got bored playing skyrim and decided to see how fast I could make something similiar to the skyrim forests but in UDK
This is what I ended up with after about an hour. Really not as good as the their forests but im pretty happy with the result so far.
I only had Zbrush 4.0 on my laptop (obviously I haven't used it in a while!) so I had to work with some old tech(no dyna-mesh!!). Nothing's finished and he could be abandoned, I was really just passing time.
Virgin Airlines is awesome though! The have outlets under each seat so I just plugged in my laptop and made art for hours!! It was great!

Putting together a scene for the ol' portfolio. I realized that when Fall of Cybertron releases i'm going to have a ton of sci fi work in my portfolio. So to avoid that i'm going to do this revisited college idea. I'm a huge fan of the 40's and 50' so i decided to do a 1940's ale house on a NYC street. I'm going to have some modular apartment building pieces, water towers, fire escapes, shipping trucks and just various props to get out of doing so many sci fi things.

That apartment front is of course placeholder for now. Going to start populating the scene with props for awhile. GIving myself plenty of time to finish this since i'm pretty swamped working on this sci fi short film.

This kinda reminds me of the london part in Alice madness returns. Check it out, It might be a great source of inspiration
Its cool Gir, the concept is by Ted Beargeon, whos currently concepting for DMO at vigil Afaik, so it most likley is a tyranid piece....nicley done nyx702
