I was thinking of doing him in Infinity Blade specs, though im not really sure what that means. I think its about 8k triangles and perhaps 512 textures? If anyone can point me to some more info on the character specs of infinity blade, that would be awesome

That's because your using a light on your object that is shining from the opposite side to your painted-in highlights on your texture.

Hello everyone
I've been working on this model for a while now. Still lots of stuff to do mainly on the back, and in case anyone is wondering about the "spikes" on the head I'm going to bend and deform them once the low poly mesh is done
I've pretty much only done hardsurface modelling up to this point, but for the last couple of days I've been fiddling around in ZBrush for the first time, and today I decided to try making something. It was really fun.
Some Zbrush tiling texture test...GAH.
Starting to get the gasp of it but still not 100% satisfied, especially painting in Z (the diffuse is mostly done in PS) and how to composite the maps in PS.
I think I am missing something but cannot put my finger on it (Any ND guys around? hehe).
Oh and by the way this is Berhooz's materials for Zbrush 4.x for anyone who wants t go at it (Thanks a lot again).
Havent got much to show yet! ;(! but im doing some art for a friends game, here is a concept trying out a style, inspired heavily by mirrors edge and numerous other things like tf2.

here man i did a quick paint over, i think really its pretty close i recognized him immediately. mainly i think it is his chin being too small.

the toque (crotch protection) seems a little free standing atm, I can only imagine how that is kept in place
