Did a fair bit on this lil sketch character, but i dropped down to level 1 sub D and zbrush decided to crash, managed to get this screenie before it closed
@vavavoom
Very nice work, love the topology.
The neck seems very long and thick though and the way it's tapering towards the body seems awkward to me.
It looks nice in the profile, maybe relax the loops a little from the front where it connects to the body?
I desperately need new stuff for my portfolio. Here's a house I'm working on. I'm going for a WoW style. Model and textures are by me. (I still need a door
It's turning awesome, Hazardous. I just don't understand why a woman should wear a blouse that keep her boobs hanging out. It doesn't seem to make sense.
Chicks armor class goes up when their boobs are out. Fact.

Badass Squidgy thing too Tacit.. lovin that!
Nice Skeleton Bonebrew - your going to be an anatomy machine after all these practices youve been doing. Time to turn that knowledge into some full blown game character sickness!
Finished the Architect soz for the massive image!
She will be produced as a 37mm figurine for Kingdom Death
NEXT PROJECT!..........no rest for the wicked.
Hello. i'm new here.

Hey Its not a game model - Its for miniature production. Zsculpt only and goes straight to printers for 3d printing, then a mould is made from the master print, from which 100's of casts of her are made..... Cant wait to see her on my desk!

Awesome stuff Troy. I think the rhythms in the pose are really nice, and its got interest from every angle too which is something people often overlook with posed pieces (myself included).
I would say however that her weapon is gonna be under seeerious stress when its printed because it will be super thin as 37mm. If its gonna be pewter metal then it will probably hold up. I remember when I printed my model with a ribbon it came out tiny bit thinner than I actually sculpted it in relation to the model, and was exacerbated by the fact it becomes almost flexible at that size. Mine was 9inches too, so its a lot larger.
pics so you understand wtf i mean:
I'd recommend doing anything design-wise that you can to plump up that area were the Staff meets her hand. I promise it will seem unnoticeable to the character but will seriously improve the quality of the strength of the figure.
Remove that completely green tile. Makes it super obvious that it's a tiling texture. Also I'd paint a few other random tiles to be darker too so that the dark tiles don't form that awkward line. The way those dark tiles are now makes it look like someone went every 3 tiles and removed/stained one. If you meant for it to be a pattern though then I guess it's fine, but usually I'd expect tiles with a pattern like that to be either painted or be of different types of stone.
I remodelled a honeycomb piece from Banjo-Kazooie for my WIP UDK project last week:
I had a look into making the item gold like in the original and it just looked odd in that style, so I went ahead and made a Hollow Honeycomb Piece to use that material instead.
Besides, the hollow ones are more valuable :

This is my first character model I'm working on. I'm going through the Blenderella DVD first, then I will try this in Maya.
The mouth looks rather off to me. Anyone have any suggestions?
Made a different Render, simpler than the last, but I think it looks better.

Reminds me Bane's mask from the Dark Knight Rises.
Joseph - Sweet colors and reflectivity, esp. on the right w/the warms vs. cools :]
Trying to kick myself to the next level.
Ofcourse nothing has changed, still halo related.
Some other images will follow with the rest of things overtime.
Just finished the low and projections for this. Moving on to the texture now!
1 - no gear
2 - full gear
3 - light gear/ blending in
haven't touched the face yet, but i've given a go to hairs with a not so outstanding result... any pointers on how to paint some decent weavy hair?

Some vintage prop I decided to whip out as a break from working on my warhammer environment.
edit: for some reason whenever I save an image from max and upload it on imageshack over whatever the image gets blown out, I have no idea why
edit edit: fixed!
