Finally took photos of some 3D Prints. DeLorean time machine obviously copyrighted to Universal, but this my model and print. Second model was originally intended to be an incense burner but while I was able to get the spines to be hollow, there wasn't enough airflow to keep the incense burning. Still a fun print though. Both are Sandstone prints and were incredibly fragile to make/clean.
"Ahem, Mr. Finn, Mr. Jake, I believe you still owe me something in exchange for that favor I did. I'd like your flesh. I'm going to take it from you while you sleep!"
Romy - That's really awesome !! I really enjoy the ambiance and the production is just perfect! I'd be so glad to see actual video games with that quality of environments!
Hugh - Here is a screen shot of my highrez model. Some details are missing because I've made a second baking with the smaller details only and make compositing in toshop. http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/6273/freeman05.jpg
I've tried to tweak a little the size of the " saddlebags " and i think it could work better like that ( thx for the advice ! ).

I really don't think those thigh things should be there, the rest is awesome, the thing on the chest looks a little odd, the design that is, other than that it's pretty awesome.
@nyx702 Actually had a whole lot of trouble doing it.. Tried different techniques. I think what I finally did was to make lines of them and guess how many of them I would need to wrap around the complete body. Then I think I just used a bend and a FFD modifier to wrap it around. I did some move brush when i got in zbrush, But of course its not perfect at all, some ring are a bit deformed etc...
Vacation tomorrow for a week but figured I'd post this where I'm leaving off. Have to spend some time working out the hair and blending into the head. Diffuse + normals, no specular.
A project I've been working on during my free time. Thanks to alot of friends to help me get it this far. Started off as a regular small town restaurant but went on to become a smallville restaurant dedicated to superman. Will get around to finishing the rest of the scene later on but just tired of staring at it :poly121:
@ Ahniketos Really good stuff! One thing that stands out to me is how perfectly placed all of the picture frames are. Might be a good way to add interest by having a few not so perfectly level. The perfect hanging clashes with the grungy ceiling you have going.

display dimensions are supposed to be 400x502 but the site is scaling it >.<
water under the bridge is textured 3d. The water wakes around the boats and smoke are straight-ahead hand drawn in flash
for the factory; truck with barrel and conveyor belt are 3d, everything else by hand
After a super long time, a little position for this character
And you can see her turn over and over again..

Here's what I've been working on
just doodling
botchiball - those are sweet prints. what's the size of the second one?
Tits - nice model! I find it's totally lacking in specular values - adding some skin spec, would really make her pop, same for the metals
a small update on this guy to finish the weekend off for me:
Good boy! More love to the folks working on Interstellar Marines!
Will do the higher frequency details with nDo.
