This is my first post here, even though Ive been lurking around here looking at all the awesomeness every day, that everyone post. Ive been working on phoenix force emma frost from AvX. Ive been loving the series so far and Emma is one of my Favorite marvel characters, so of course i had to give a shot. Its still very much a WIP so any criticism would be great.
Good idea, Emma is smexey. For your model, there are some anatomical problems standing out. I can't say for sure since i can't see the model from another angle but it seems like your are are way to small and her chest is too big. I think you could make the chest less tall which will, at the same time, make the arms a little longer.
Good luck sir
@Daphz : damn man, that kitty has some style ! your texturing is as good as ever. Keep on !
@Res0lve. you seem to be having a hard time with her anatomy. Id recomend you to find somewhat of a reference to work after.
Since I dint have any more time to work on the model, im gonna call it done, for now anyway. so to make a presentation, currently Im trying out different rendering techniques in zbrush.. aaand I suck at it! does anyone know any good zbrush rendering tutorials?
this is what I´ve managed to get so far

I don't know much about rendering in Zbrush, but I would try and pose him to try and bring him a bit to life.

Hey man I know whats it like to try and get a critic on here, so I thought I would help you out. You have a few issues to work on here, but mostly it's your proportions and costume design.
For proportions you should google some reference whenever you're working. Here's one I found really quick to help. http://www.idrawdigital.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/prop_female.gif
Like in the picture you should pay attention to how long the arms are, and the size of the hands. Yours could be a bit longer.
Blockout stage- dynamesh atm. Started with couple of cylinders and spheres.
Just added alot of vascularity to give an idea of where its headed. He is going to be full of veins!!!

Hey thanks a lot, I will definitely pay more attention to my proportions next time. As far as costume choice, its just merely based off of the original design.
Looks like Warframe bro... NDA NDAAA! haha should look awesome with some colourz, I want to see your stuff bro!
hahah shiiiiiiieeeeeeett i wish it looked that good :P
the textures will have very subtle detail as i want to make the lighting do all the heavy lifting when it comes to differences of metal tones. what i have right now is pretty boring though

the lows texture/material is still work in progress and will get a better once over as i finish more texture sheets and get the colors down.

Lots of great work here. Keep it up everyone!
Edit: Err Nevermind... I didn't realize the top image was your high poly and not a texture sheet.

Still need to make tracks, and maybe add some details.
I derived it from Abrams. But Abrams was boring, so decided to make something more interesting.
btw. Don't mind those 20mln tri count. It was just shit tons of bolts. I got rid of it.

The feet are just a placeholder right now, about to jump into them.
Although I am apparently not credited...I did in fact contribute a little bit of concept work on darksiders 2 with my time at Vigil...
Also The Yeti i created for my last class on CGsociety with the awesome Bryan Wynia.
I really like her. Is it just me, or are her arms a little long?
