Looks like I need your help again, guys.
I wanted to work on a new female that is at least soooomehow accurate. As you can see, it´s an early wip.
The lower legs just don´t look right to me, but I cannot figure out what the problem is.
Any hint would be awesome!
Its been mentioned that your knees are low, but I wanted to point out a possible reason. If you're lining this up to a photo, a camera will distort the proportions of the human body. Its very slight, but its enough to cause the issue which you're seeing. Here's a pretty good breakdown of the concept, though not the best. Make sure you read the little text bits as some of it may surprise you. Your figure looks like your camera was very low, so the legs are thicker and the chest is smaller.
A couple more things which a co-worker of mine pointed out over my shoulder - the breasts are a bit high, and the belly button is way low. Belly button sits strait across from the lowest point of the ribcage.
Work has been so crazy and havent had time to do much of the soldier I posted a while ago but this week I have had some free time to do some of the texture work .Below is the model wip same with the car modeling part 2 of the tut .
Fan art for Tron 2.0 by Monolith from 2003.One of my favorite games. The goal is to look retro and abstract like original TRON and TRON 2.0 but done with modern game engine...in my case UDK.
Gettin some texture work in. Two 1024 maps. One for the bits n pieces, the other for the structure itself. Im gonna redo the windows as they suck and im tryna keep the photo-cut-n-paste stuff to a minimum. Running into somewhat of a roadblock with the roof tho, should anybody have a technique for them. Shoot me a link
@TheDarkKnight nice! i'm really into batman atm, watching the films + playing arkham city, and yours is coming along really well!

Well THAT made my morning. Love the feeling of your piece ! I'd love to see a char walking toward the planet to truly grasp the grandeur of the scene ;o
Heaps of cool work going on . I did the bake for my Roger thing today its at 3900 Tri's and just has a shitty texture on it atm so have to fix all that.
Damn Impala! impressive, enjoyed watching it.
Music fits well, the camera movement now and then felt a bit like rocking a boat, though the tour it gives aroudn the scene is great, flying a camera is a skill itself and the overall felt very solid.

Thanks i may add a character at some point, however it'd probably also require the walway to be redone in places, mainly the reflective main panels. Closer up they're not that great, so i'd need to rethink them and give them more detail and greebling.
Also, i already have an engineer based character done in zbrush, minus armor or close up detailing, so it shouldn't be that difficult to get one done eventually
Edit: cheers Rens yeah the camera's a bit jerky at times, although unfortunately it seems to be more from the video compression than from the matinee sequence

this is possibly the first time ever that I post something in these forums, so hello everyone, so yeah recently I've been doing some high poly modelling and then I sculpted the details in, I'm actually really terrible/extremely petrified of freehand sculpting, I used Zbrush 4.0, you can find the pics in the link below, until I have a website or something, I got to manage with what I know http://www.facebook.com/PlayingWithPolygon

Left the current sculpt, right a quick paintover to get an idea of how it might end up looking when it's done.
Looking for a way on how I'm going to do the cape

As someone else said, your ankles are a bit thick bone-wise, but the fat should be a covering up the bones a bit. Here's a good example of male vs. female legs - note that the female legs are a bit heavier and there is less bone visible.

Ha great to see you stuck with this for so long.
You really took this to the next level, I still want to see this badassery with color!
i would really love to see a whole scene of this but in b&w not color, will really interesting to see how you handle the values in black and white
@osman - Beautiful environment. The lighting and atmosphere are inspiring.

@ JordanW : Looks cool. Looks like it could be a future tech flight helmet. You should turen it into a character.
@ fusedgore : REALLY dig that car.
Quickie shits from me. Trying to work on style and expression.

The coffin is really good but the idea with the spider webs is genius!
ideas you get at 1 in the morning.

Things are coming smoothly and neatly as for now. Ultra-not satisfied with the hands, though i will work'em properly when I'll make the gloves
Again, so much great work coming from everyone.
textured the long headed/necked dude. Probably give this guy a trucker hat and some dungarees or something
Some new painting over an old concept.
For the greater good. I love your work, man
blarg i need to make a "final" version of one of these things instead of a speedy
Is this based on a concept? It seems ... strangely proportioned and shaped.
