Original test animation for this guy
[vv]45760795[/vv]
looked at the model and it was just abysmal so I decided to remodel it and do a little test render. Maybe make a little "toy" showcase image or something now that it looks proper at all angles and distances.
I was going to update the animation but it looks like my max file for the animation is gone as well as the rigged version. Probably buried, lost forever on a ZIP disk somewhere.
My work is definitely not as good as everyone else's work, but here's some student work for my final project at university for a kids racing game Any feedback appreciated
I don´t think some of you guys read about, but the The Other Brothers game team started a quick comp (design a character and it´ll be in the game).
I´ve spend the whole day doing some pixelart for it, here´s the result. Sorry for the flood.
shamelessly cross posting, alot more love needs to be put into the diffuse :] Tri count is about 500k which is still only half of forza so far but my interior is really rubbish so far. hopefully going to give this a full racing decal eventually but i have ALOT more modelling to do (mainly the interior)

here's the end result of messin round in ZB while I was in a hangout.
Timelapse for anyone interested (there may be a few minutes missing in the middle some where )

oh man love this stuff, i really like how you managed to get that high res feel and still have the rest for the eyes over the entire model. really cool man
mrninjutsu man that looks great i love the style they used in brink and i am guessing thats what you are going for. in my opinion though i really liked how the cloth and specially the face luked gritty in brink. keep posting man!
Scott - Your stuff looks awesome as usual! The round beams look a bit thin though? Its a lot of glass for all that water pressure! The ones in Bioshock were a lot thicker as well!

Did not get to do much work on this guy over the weekend but I went to bed too early last night and woke up at 3 so I decided to play around.
I am not good with cloth wrinkles and no where near finished with them so any crits are more than welcome please.
