I'm working on a whole lot of small pieces to what will hopefully come together into a beautiful scene.
I haven't painted diffuse texture on anything yet, just previewing the bakes atm
Rayph - thanks! ))) Parnell- I used standard Vray SSS2 material with basic settings. For final image I made several render passes (diffuse, spec, glossiness, light, shadow etc) and then combined them in photoshop
Sorry guys for my English I don't speak well
working on the skin texture and shader. then on to messing with Fibermesh for eyelashes, eyebrows and eventually hair. Maybe I'll finish this by the end of the year
Today I had the great pleasure of getting a DD so I felt compelled to thank everybody (including all the people here that provided me with feedback while I was working on my project: THANK YOU!!!). Yesterday however, I managed to sculpt a few wood planks for my current project. Normal maps are next on the to do list. I know I've seen some great tutorials on how to get smooth results using xNormals, I just need to find them again...
Such awesome work here this week!! It's been a while since my last post... I guess it's been a while since I've even done anything. Anyway, had some free time this past week and i decided to do an environment highly inspired by Caldeum (Act II in Diablo 3) I guess we could pretty much say it is caldeum. It's still very much w.i.p. but here's what I have so far. Lot's left to do... Still needs some subject matter and more assets to make the scene more convincing.
Still busting out rock sculpts/textures like crazy. Getting there but I really need to get something smaller working. More like a rock surface so that I can model the rocks in Maya..
