Hi guys. New to the boards, just though I'd post what I'm doing atm, finishing up this ( a bit gruesome and scary, maybe?) picture for a friend's birthday.
Wanted to convey a feeling of betrayal and sorrow, while still maintaining the beauty and hope behind it all.
Dunno if I nailed it, but I'd gladly take some crits if you guys got ideas for imrpovment (alhtouhg, I guess, it's kinda done soon).
Mega HI-RES-version here, for those interested : )
@ Lando I freaking love this! Nice touch with the reflection on her chin piercing, would have never saw it without the hi-res.
Thanks man, glad you like it. And glad you noticed the detail! Iv'e id some small things in there, hehe.
I was thinking, maybe you see a tiny reflection of her nemesis, the one who gave her the scar
Hi, @ JordanW realy nice concept sketch
@ pignaccia are u working on an character or on an cloth study? The anatomy of her isn't there yet for an character.
here som new renders after i was told my presentation is horrible, hope its better
@ pignaccia to be honest ther isn't mutch that is anatomicly right .
If u want ur model to read right and hawe the basic anatomy working u need to learn female proportions first and then the anatomy stuf.
Right now the lower arm is to short and the upper arm is way to long.
The torso isn't locking esteticly and the legs as well.
I wanet to show u how i approach the female anatomy, i made an recording of an sketch here : http://www.livestream.com/zbrushsketches/video?clipId=pla_ff49b57f-d36f-4771-8621-9365fc10423c
Maybe u learn how i bring the form down and then work on the anatomy, and the pose(position) of ur model is also an big point to sell the piece.
Here is the model http://p3d.in/ChE1G/wireonsmooth+spin
@Guedin Love the style, awesome work!
Dunno if I can ask this, I stumble upon your work recently (wich I think is amazing by the way). I've seen you've been using marmoset for some of your renders and they look real great. I've been having some issue while trying to use it on my character, I kinda feel like there is a lot of texture quality when i render with it. Texture seams a bit jaggy etc, I don't know if you might know why?

Really tight thumbnails too!
what do you guys think about the trousers? the rest of clothing is just placeholders!
thx in advance!
