Arg!! It's been a little while since I've checked into PC and there's soo many goodies laying around on the WAYWON thread! my fav thread! I gotta start posting here again, so here we go. Any feedback greatly appreciated!
Used sculptris for more than 15 minutes for a change! Pretty cool programme, find it so hard to get a clean result though. pooped out a mech! That leg isn't floating, honest.
This is a base mesh that I plan to take into ZBrush to get my zbrush on! I am a complete novice with ZBrush so and advice and constructive criticism would be awsome!
More concept stuff for my DEMONOLOGY series!!!
First we have an environment picture that shows the human society in the world,
next we have some random demon designs!
working on some handpainted stuff, cant seem to finish anything go from pixel art to normal mapping to handpainting and cant seem to decide what to do, feels like its slowing my learning.
Made a sword based on one of MGreckes concepts, 2 hours or so, still so much i could do with textures, also the bake is crappy, but i'll redo it at a later date.
I made the matcap for this not too long ago, it will either look nice or totaly fail, so it might not work on things like you hoped. Dig into the material settings and push some values around, you can get nice variations.
Haven't really posted anything until now. This is a High Poly of a sci fi incubator. Looking for some feedback. Gonna polish the Low then move to baking normals.
Color's there, Alberto; but the spec/reflection needs a lot more work to make it really goldish.
Are you using scene cubemap reflections or a custom reflection map?
Started some random headtexture today during lunch, for the lulz. Not really planning on doing anything with it, but I guess it's a good texturing exercise.
First application of stuff i learnt here: modular generic Alien swarm scifi environments!
(thread soon™)
simple test to check for seams and export/import process from hammer to max to hammer. Besides some minor alien-blood splatter decal issues, i'm content with this so far. No visible seams, but i did forget to tile the section while baking resulting in the odd lighting on the 3rd pic.
