they could back trace all Hanks calls not linking him to any criminal activity. Plus he was the only one who wanted to bust any of these people, all others turned blind eyes.

Burner phones for all his criminal activity and Hank was after them for his and Walt's benefit to set Walter up as the new supplier. Heisenberg was a cover identity they dreamed up to protect themselves and so they could pin it on someone else if things got too close for comfort.
Or, Hank was always focused on this case, because he wanted to make sure to feed info back to Walt And 'busting people' could have been to intimidate them.
That's how the system may look at it.
Don't forget, the reason Hank was injured, was because 2 hit men, working for the drug cartel, were trying to kill him. They may rethink it as a battle over territory.
Well, i'm still some episodes late, but i really don't like this season. So what, Walt suddenly becomes a gloomy psychotic bastard, Mike makes incredible mistakes (plastic handcuffs to one hand, really ??!). I feel like we'll have some christian moral bullshit, like criminals can't escape blabla. The firsts 4 seasons were so great, season 4 was madness, but this, bleh. One more awesome tv show ruined because of extra season. I am disappoint.
No way Hank flips. Don't see it. He's already lost his balls as a cop (pardon the expression) and gotten them back again. Hank IS a cop, and he'll kill Walt or arrest him if it comes down to it. When he asked about WW before, he appeared to be considering Walt as a suspect the whole time (dude IS a chemist who came up on lots of money). Either way, I'm dying to see how he handles the next immediate situation (returning to the dinner party).
I think he's going to return to the dinner party, and make a hasty departure. Then he's going to start watching Walt. The book is too strong of a connection, but Hank will want to be sure it's Walt. He won't trust asking Walt, so he'll start nosing around.
Kickass, thanks for the link, that's getting shared around fo sho! Funny how the cartel wipeout isn't represented, or is it? When all the Dons show up on the list, is that it? What about bodyguards etc.? This list makes me want to go through the series again, never had a big desire to do so before.

true. but then again all he really has to do is ask Skyler, she's so broke right now i bet she'd just give up.
man are we really going to have to do this for a year? : [
I don't think he could kill Walt... unless Walt goes crazy on him too, like he did Mike. It would not be so easy for Hank though, as suggested in that blog. I almost get the feeling, that they won't conclude this show. Like it will end with a stand off between those two, and you'll hear a gunshot, but a blank screen (ala Sopranos style). I hope not though.
Otherwise, I do think Walt dies. I think that's why they've been having him do stuff lately, that's suppose to make us hate him. That way, when he dies, we'll be happier with it. The show is about Walt, and how he's letting the power go to his head, which gives him too much confidence. If Walt lives, the show COULD continue, but since the show is coming to an end, so does Walt.
Something else to remember, every drug king in this show has died. Who is that king now? I know they show him saying 'he's out', but is he really? Or is that how he decided to get his family back (by faking it)?
If anybody kills Walt it's Jesse.
Either he'll find out about Mike, or the poison cigarette, or some other thing he wasn't supposed to know and that'll be the last straw. I don't understand how this is even a question.
I definitely think that poison is going to come into play. They keep teasing that they'll use it, and then Walt hides it again... never throwing it out
i think the best scene was when that bathtub full of yuck crashes down the ceiling haha that... or when Walt goes into the drug place and smashes a whole bag of boom.
The falling tub, though epic, is still just a tick behind the explosion of Gus. Gus stepping out, looking perfectly fine, you're reminded of all the times that people failed to kill him (making him seem immortal). Then the camera turns, and you're like "AW DAMN"... then his eyes look around.
Every one of the season finales were great. Remember when Jesse was going to go waste those two drug dealers that killed the kid, only to see Walt go Aztec all over them with the execution fatality?! "RUN!" So many dropped jaws over the years. Love this show.
A monster, indeed. No idea how this will shake out in the end...
spoiler - he found a book with a note from the other lab cook that they killed. which prompts him to realize that WW is walter white. they found 'ww' in a note before at that guys house when he was killed.
But amc is currently doing a marathon of the entire season. so i suggest watching the last episode again! it will end, then the new one starts.

Walt kills everybody, gets away, and starts a new life!
Lol, I think someone mentioned that before in this thread. I guess we'd finally understand how Hal got so damned batshit crazy!

unless Walt kills Jesse first...:poly105:
Mr. White is turning into a monster it seems.

Can't wait!
oooh and that prison shanking scene. Coupled with the upbeat music, helped to portray W.w.'s enjoyment of the situation.
He was taking a dump.
