i like how when you start on the wmclan server, you get a shovel, pick, and axe right off the bat. really helps a lot without it being a cheat. speaking of cheating though, apparently the admin can regurgitate blocks of any kind in an endless stream for everyone else to pick up.
Started this one last night. I like using that skin edit program to quickly block things out (less troublesome than trying to bodypaint something so small). Eventually I'll open it up in photoshop and make it look less like butt.
Finished my double spawner trap.
Skellies drown, spideys die to cactus trap.
Torches uptop are for screenshot purposes, probably need to be removed to ensure that the mobs spawn.

Found a huge cave system on singleplayer, trying to keep the hordes under bay by building stone walls and door portals. Hopefully, I'll be able to vanquish the evil hordes, those creepers ,man they piss me off coming at me from behind a rock.

I tried lava, but the water kept hitting it and making cobblestone.
Saw the cactus idea utilized in a different trap on the youtubes. Just adapted it to my trap.
Has anyone found a creeper spawner? Does it exist? I really want to farm gunpowder but I have only found skeleton and zombie spawners...
To the best of my knowledge, there are no creeper spawners. Which kinda makes sense. I can only imagine the mayhem that would ensue if 5 Creepers came at you...and kept respawning. They would probably just continue to blow up until you reached bedrock...or the void.

I don't find creepers too difficult to deal with, especially with a bow.

On the fourth lava flow block just add a ladder below it, the monsters can go through but the lava flow will stop there, remove two blocks horizontal below and it'll let the water flow through.
Yeah, I saw that the ladders allow lava on the fourth block in a video. I have a feeling that will be patched soon. I may use this in my large world trap though.
Thats FAR too long to wait. I propose we head over to his servers and overload the shit out of them so that they dont work anymore and everyone in the world suffers. That way notch might get his ass in gear. Can't believe I've spend a couple of quid on a game I've played endlessly for a month or so and I havent been given anything in return. Gah!...
definitely in the right direction, I'd like to see a bit less snow, though. More rivers and maybe some swamps plz! Bigger deserts and forests too! Maybe some sharper mountains and grasslands.

Lol @minecart The other day in my buddies server we laid out this massive track from one side of this huge body of water to the other and then I tried to place a minecart and poof! Same bug. After hitting it a bunch of times the server just crashes and says I did an illegal move. O_o
@adam I think the park looks sick! Totally reminds me of Roller Coaster Tycoon from back in the day. Except I know that when it opens for business I will be able to ride it in first person mode!
Lol..yeah. I corrected it. I originally thought West was up due to the way the maps were being rendered isometrically. Then this map came so North was up.
But to confirm that North is up I realised that the Sun rises in the East. Although this is Minecraft world so its not necasarilly true.
Does anyone know a specific time this updates coming. Or is it just tomorrow sometime?
