Looks nice mate
Might just be my monitor but in the shadows it's really pitch black so for all I know you might have detail there that I can't see, that would be a shame
Really solid modeling, looking forward to seeing the low and the bake
JoshC - Thanx!
Stromberg - thanx! im gonna have to ligthing up that a bit.
scotthomer - haha! yeah!
rocnesta - thanx!
igi + zombiewells - thanks guys! Yeah everything so far has been do in modo. Later on ill post some screenshots of my render set up.
Jonathan - is all bout the fancy lights!
Here is a quick pre of the low poly bake inside of unreal. Will be working on a better presentation soon. But for now this will do. Havent set up my alphas so there may seem like some things are missing.
By the way, thanks to Tor Frick for helping me out figure out the modo smoothing group stuff!
Looking good Raul! Suggestion: add some geo to the hull to break the silhouette up a bit. It's the only part of your model that looks low poly. Looking forward to seeing more!
I wanted to share with you guys something i started for a competition over at 3dtotal....dont judge me..lol. The subject sounded cool so i jumped.
Ive been working on this for the past 2 weeks, when time allows, between carpets being changed, walls being painted at my place and me having to stay at friends and family for a few nights..working on this has been rather difficult, but fun!
So far ive gotten as far as the high poly, gonna be working on the textures this coming week.
A little reference
Looks Sick!!!!!!!!!! The side panels came out really nice. Great work as always. One thing... Put a reflection on that crystal ball and try to add some depth into it
Looks really good but the ornament over her head look like its lover quality, noticed it right away. Maybey its just me. ;P Great work otherwise.
I was the same, its just kinda blurry and noisy but the highpoly for that part looks really slick so its a little bit of a shame. Otherwise awesome piece.
Heh, I was just looking through some threads I'm subscribed to, and I came across this. Looks really good, man! The only thing that bugs me (as the others said) is the scrolled piece on top looks too low res. It's too bad that couldn't have been a separate texture. Looks awesome otherwise.

WOw your work is very good. Love the detail going on!
Mind posting the smoothing group tips? Also are you using Modo for normal map baking? And what game engine are you using?
Proof that is all in the editor!
