you could start by making the ends triangles insgtead of quads. And personally I think 2 tris is enough: <|> and you could probably even get away with using a 3 or 4 sided pyramid per 'flower'.
bounchfx - you shaved your beard in movember? You're supposed to grow them now!
crazyfool - nice design with the straps and stuff. but his anatomy feels very box like. i reckon it would look better if you had a few more larger, deeper creases in there, and tried to break up the box silhouette.
not sure what material you were going for, but a few ideas here:
cheers dude, I will sort that out when I get some more free time its supposed to be like a ski jacket but with subtle hints towards leather/straight jackets, so I want it quite thick, but some stronger, more defined folds will 100% help, cheers on the ref will go on a massive ref hunt now, definetly not happy with it yet will sort out that silhouette aswell, hopefully the folds will help, can probably get a bit more shape in the trousers too. Ive just realised Im missing a strap over his shoulder too
awesome work moor, only the hands are maybe a bit small?
vreza: if you ask me. Kill all polys on the spines, so its only a plane. Add polys to the crock so it look not that lowpoly anymore and add also polys to the catus.
Hope you understand what i mean, if not i can make a quick overpaint.
@blitz: i dont get u on having a plane fro the spines cos they are kinda pointed to all direction. they need to look okay perpendicularly and also sideways.
Ace stuff James. Looks like everything you make ends up getting viral
Btw, just discovered your tutorials on youtube. Seems like you have very fun workflow and ways of teaching. Inspired to give animation a shot.
That's super cool, knowing how great a sculpter you are I bet it will come naturally since you already understand the most important thing, ''what looks awesome?''
And yeah, getting on kotaku was cool, I think I might end up getting addicted though. I'm starting to feel again now after ONE DAY of enjoying videogames, hmmmm, perhaps I should start slamming out a new project...
Got this to a point where I'm ready to retopo. Thanks to taylorpelto for the crits oin the wrinkles.... hope this looks better. Decided not to model the genitalia this time around. But great advice for future projects.
I love, love, love this. Could you elaborate a bit what FFD modifier magic is involved ? Can be via PM, too
Like someone said, it would fit right into tf2, and I'm heavily playing with the creation of a "space theme" where new rock assets would be golden !
Sorry for ignoring your reply Acumen; I will make a mini tut later on

head looks oddly shaped, but boy did his body turn out well
Learning how animations function in starcraft 2 while figuring out how rigging and weights work in max for the first time is a f*cking nightmare but these initial results are more than i was hoping for! It's kick ass how much a zoomed out camera and an isometric view covers crap animation and rigging
Definitely going to be tuning this up the next couple days.

Someday I'll actually finish something. Gotta jump to something else for a bit
