I'm Adrian, i'm doing a degree in computer programming and d Moceling in France, i'll post some waok and asks for advices in order to inprove my tehniques.
I'm bostvic, I'm new to 3d modelling (maybe a year on and off) and thought I'd have a go at doing some 3d stuff. I use blender and Substance Painter! Hoping for some good critiques to improve my work.
Hellooo, I'm Dan and new to posting things here although had an account for too long before sharing my own work. Getting to grips with the image painting side of Blender as i write this.
Hey there! I've lurked here for a while but finally decided I should join. I've just started designing a video game so what better time, right?
I have just completed a Master of Animation degree in Sydney Australia. I have experience with Cinema 4D and Maya, with basic knowledge of zBrush, Mudbox, Curvy3D and Silo.
I have been involved in making a Unity game during my degree, but it was severely rushed and I was mainly wrangling a few flaky programmers, lol.
The game I'm working on now is a jRPG using ORK Framework. Right now I'm in the nitty gritty of writing dialogue, making spreadsheets of items, magic, equipment and so forth. Switching between that dry stuff and modelling so I don't get too bored.
Now, having seen the work on this site I am definitely low on that ladder of quality, but I'm getting better all the time!
So I hope to be a good contributor to this site in the future. See you round!
Hi, I've been modeling with 3ds Max as a student and hobbyist off and on for around the past decade or so. I'm looking to take the next step and start working professionally, and I thought that getting involved with the community here might be a good place to start. I hope that the feedback I get here will help me improve my work, and that I will be able to help pass that knowledge along in turn.
Hello! My name is Santeri and I'm a 3d artist from Finland. I currently do 3d for advertising industry (the work is nothing to tell your mother about, mainly modelling packaging, props, etc). I am currently finishing my real time character art portfolio, and aiming to do transition to gaming industry. I have been making few games with my friends, but (surprise, surprise) all of them are, and stay, unfinished.
I have been lurking around here many years, made a account year and a half ago, but still wasn't ready to really commit my self, or post my work here. Yesterday I finally got the courage to put my portfolio plan, with WIP models, and I am hoping to get hard critique from all the great artist here, and also lend my humble knowledge to give something back within my skill range.
I'm exited, humble, and inspired to be part of this community, and hope I can give my little contribution for letting this wonderful site thrive and shine.
Hello there! My name is Keenan Civiero and I'm a Canadian 3D artist. I graduated in March from a compressed game art program looking to break into the industry, and I work with Photoshop, 3Ds Max, the Allegorithmic package (Designer / Painter), Zbrush, and Unreal Engine 4 (no scripting / blueprint as of yet ). I'm disciplined in hard surface modeling, I'm however aiming to do environment art later down the line. I've been lurking around polycount every now and then to find solutions to problems, and figured that I should open up an account to connect with other artists and share work!
Hi! My name is Andrew Grabko and I'm learning concept art and 3d modeling. After being a backend programmer for travel business for 5 years I decided to finally quit and make games, because I loved them since I was a child and always wanted to make them. And after two years of making an indie f2p PvP game, which obviously failed , and trying many hats as an indie, I felt like I want to do more artistic stuff (also loved to draw as a child), so I'm practicing in drawing and modeling for some time now and hope to become a productive member of Polycount community and the industry in general
Hi! My name is Galina, I`m freelance 3d artist from Belarus. Here for learning and communication, working and joint improving skills! I want to reach really professional level and keep moving ahead. Im sure critis and comments will help me a lot. My specialization now is characters, but I want to advance my environment skills as well. Sorry for strange English, I`m not a native speaker Cheers!
Hey there, I'm here to try and develop my work to the 'next level', and beyond with luck. So I'm looking forward to posting WIP, engaging with the community and finding/suggesting answers to some tricky tech questions.
Hello everyone. I have been lurking through this forum for a while and now for guidance and inspiration. My name is Tyler and I am an aspiring environment artists from Madison Wisconsin who is always looking to learn and improve my craft. Polycount has plenty of great minds to do just that and I hope to return the favor by engaging in the discussions.
Hi All! I'm a caricaturist, illustrator, art apps designer. Aspiring concept artist and animator. Hoping to learn more about Houdini, 3d Coat, anatomy sculpting and creating content for VR. Trying to work out how to talk about and do justice to both my art and my app which I created to become a better artist. https://www.artstation.com/artist/markgrizenko
Created this account way back when I was a lurker, here goes!
Hello everybody and depending on your timezone, happy new year. I recently graduated from university and decided to create a proper portfolio. Of course I want to watch and learn from the best, so I could think of no better place than polycount.
My name is Alex, I'm an amateur/hobbyist illustrator looking to branch into 3D work and game art. I finally was able to get ZBrush last year, and this year I intend to learn it inside and out. I look forward to learning from you all, and contributing art and assistance where I can.
My name is Daniel Swing, I recently achieved my bachelor's degree in digital game design and felt like the next step is to improve upon my 3D modelling and texturing skills enough so that I can secure a job within the business. If you want to help me improve, please take a look at my sketchbook (or my portfolio) and give me feedback!
I am a graduate of Full Sail university with a Bachelors degree in Computer Animation and majored in Character Modeling. Im looking to get into the industry and do what I love. I'll be posting some of my work here from time to time.
Hello, everyone. I finally decided to join after lurking for a while. I'm still pretty new to 3ds Max, but I hope this forum will help me along the way.
Hi guys, I was lurking arround here like 2 years ago, and decide to start posting and asking for any advice on this community. And hopefully in the future I can help another polycounter .

Hello Polycount, my name is Michael and I've previously been making games as 2D UI Artist. Currently excited to join the community as I start learning 3D.
Hi there, my name's Barry. I'm in South East England. Been coming across this forum as a search result for a few years when I've been stuck on something so I finally decided to join.
Finally decided to post here. I won't introduce myself because it would be kinda boring . I'm just here to share the same passion as you , and why not make friends
I've been looking for a 3D art forum that is close to game development, and I'm glad Google took me here!
I'm a game/web programmer trying to learn 3D stuff. I took IT major back in college with minor in design, so I learned a bit about Autodesk Maya. But that was 10 years ago! Now there are a lot of tools and new techniques I do not know where to start from, like high-poly to low-poly pipeline up to PBR texturing tools like Substance. Currently focusing on making characters for my game now as personal hobby, and I really don't know where to start.
I hope I can learn more from (and give back to!) the community in this forum.
Hello! Been lurking along time here on polycount, but now i have decided to create a thread for my current project and hope people check it out and give some feedback.
I'm a Game Art Student from Sweden which hope to get into the industry soon
I'm a software dev (working in games), trying to make the shift in to the art dept. I've been doing freelance illustration on the side for a few years, and now am looking to learn 3D so I can get in to asset creation for games, and maybe mix everything together in that big ol' pot labeled "tech art".
