This is an updated render on my scene that I posed earlier. I have decided not to use the normal map on the tree since this way it looks softer which fits with the flowers it holds.
Small intro post (even though I have posted in the past).
Robert Berrier, several years in the industry in the Netherlands, and now looking to expand into the world. Will do a follow up post in the 3D section, but in case your interested: www.robertberrier.com
I've been on polycount for a few days already (joined in order to take part in the cs: go skin contest). I am 21 yo designer from Poland, I work mostly in PS, but I don't mind learning new stuff. My portfolio can be seen here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/kasiworkshop/myworkshopfiles/
I am also a founder and designer on everything around http://cliquegarments.com/, so I do not work only around games (been working on game testing for a while), but I am designing fashion, logos, websites, etc., too.
My name can be found in Forza Horizon 2 and Forza Motorsport 6 as those are the titles I was testing for the developers, proud of it.
Short intro: I'm currently a student in The Netherlands. I also have a job as concept artist in the game industry and I'm working hard everyday! Been having a foundations throwback mood lately, doing a lot of studies and construction drawings.
I'm a web developer, graphic designer from Latvia joining the community. Been working with graphics and design for a few years but i'm a newbie when it comes to woking with 3d game assets so i am ready to learn from you all. As a starter i plan to participate in the CS:GO skin contest.
Hello, my name is Teshia. I finished my BS in Game Design last December. I was lucky enough to go through an internship with Disney Interactive working on Disney Infinity 2.0, Marvel Superheros. I'm excited to join a community focused on 3D work. My favorite games are Starcraft, Don't Starve Together, and Terraria. I'm here to start a sketchbook to get help on things I'm not proficient with and to look for freelance work to carry me over while I work on personal projects. This is a very kind community, I can't wait to get started.
Hi! I'm an aspiring 3D artist going to school for game design, and I figured this would be the best place to learn all the secrets to making great game art. Cheers!
I have been involved in game development for years now specializing in UI art & design. I have started playing around in Unreal 4 and other 3d apps in my spare time. I'm particularly interested in learning to create some small environments as well as 3d hologram/ interface type stuff for VR. See you around!
Hi guys I'm Danielle, a TOTAL noob when it comes to game art. Coming from a land architect background. Live in Toronto but am traveling now in Asia. Basically dying to get home to start modeling. Have always loved games, not sure why I never considered a career in this field until now... Anyway I hope my idiotic questions don't annoy too many people. So many of you are so incredibly awesomely talented.
any way for ME to delete a post or one of my own replies? I was trying to reply on my phone and it was not working, then later it looks like the reply went through twice so I have duplicates on my thread. thanks

Hi, everyone. I'm a character animation student and I look forward to participating in the community. My goal after university is to become a game artist. Can't wait to learn
I'm a painter that was turned on to polycount just recently. Through painting, I've learned that you have to use any medium necessary to fulfill your idea. Paint isn't always the best way. An idea I have has led me to video game design, and I'm hoping that this will be a great resource to meet some designers that might be interested in participating in an idea. I guess there's a different place to post for that?
Hello World! I'm finally turning this thing on! Lost my job for the 3rd time due to layoffs. Finishing up my game until I find another gig. I'll be posting some stuff from my work on it here as I get it together. Also on Twitch
Hellooo Polycount! I'm Fiery25123, you can call me Fiery. I have a certificate in 3D animation that I've yet to find a use for! Haha. So for now I've been making art for friends and learning Unity so I can bring my art to life! I love cute low-poly style models, so that's what I work in. I can do more realistic stuff, but real stuff is boring! Hahaha! XD Check out my artstation here, if you're so inclined: https://www.artstation.com/artist/fiery25123
Hi everyone! I'm a recent BA grad in communication-design and throughout university found my love for 3D; therefore I'm now focusing on 3D-Art, mostly environment. Glad to be here
Hello Everyone! I´ve been lurking around here and finally decided to jump on. I´m studying Graphic Design but my "Dream" is to maybe some day, work in the videogame industry. i´ve been tooling around a bit with game engines and found out that im more the "Art Guy" so i´ll try to specialize in Asset creation/ Concept art. Im not very good with digital paint, but im "good" drawing, so I think there will be some improvement. well. I hope we´ll get along and im glad that i finally registered here. :proud:
Totally did NOT read this before I started posting, and got slapped (on both top and bottom cheeks) by the forum spam filter.
Anyway, hello everyone! Aspiring game developer/artist here (don't kid ourselves now, game devs are totally artists). I do a bit of everything 2D/3D art and animation, programming, a bit of audio(but I avoid it where I can) and pretty much everything else in between. So just your typical Red Mage, I guess.
Hello y'all! At last, my post! Hoping that my account can be verified today so I can start using all the features on this website. By the way, if the website admins can find a new way for people to prove that they are not bots that would be great because frankly this current method is not intuitive. Cheers!
