Bobo : Stylized and superb as always. And I'm not with ScoobyDoofus on this one. I think that your color choice is working really well and still is in the spirit of the original one but in another universe.
Valh : Looks awesome man ! Nice folds everywhere. But ( ), I thinks she's a little bit "pressed down". I don't know if it's the ortho views or something but I've a little girl proportion feeling when I look at her atm. Looks greats anyways
Here's my entry to the Gameartisans comp. I was really pushed to finish this one, I'd like to come back to it in a couple of days and fix anything that isn't quite right.
first peice of personal work that's anywhere near complete in ages... gotta get my finger out seeing I'm now an unemployed bum and needing to get some work (hint hint lol ).
Started off as Bobo's lo poly alien head which I then took in to Mudbox, just wanted to see what I could do- still feeling quite rusty, lots of imperfections but it's come out better than I though it would
2k tris, 512x1024 nm and diff maps, eyes need texturing- needs hair (he's gonna have a terry nuptkins hairdo- basically bald on top but with hair round the back )
If I feel the urge, I might do a body for him too- see how things go.
study from last night , Trying to learn sutlety of a woman , and just in general not making them look hidious, help from workshop members while doing this study, but still has alot of flaws I need to fix (ear, mouth etc)
Seforing I think that is tons better then your last one. Get some more bone structure details there, on the cheeks, zigomatic bone, just play a bit with the form of the skull before jumping on the little details.
it was intentional. I actually had a screenshot of Viewtiful joe open when i drew it. so good catch on that. Big fan of the viewtiful joe style, but not the sillyness/story. Basicly this guy is a mesh between viewtifull joe and dan paladin's style. Really looking forward to castle crashers. BTW he was made in Flash. trying to learn flash so i can make a simple game.

don - awesome wolverine don, I do agree it might suit a less exagerated contrast range on the material, it's looking kind of metallic. Still way cool though

doing a bit of gender reassignment on the male base mesh for the nurse sidekick. thinking some sort of fetishistic giant orthodontic neck/ head brace? nothing final just yet, just trying to get the volumes about right
Damn, kite, really nice forms on the face so far. It might just be me, but her face is looking a bit male, though I can't place the exact elements. I'm actually getting a bit of a Peter Weller vibe from it.
yeah she does look a bit mannish, i wanted a strong face with a pronounced jaw because of all the junk around her neck, but robocop strong is not what i was aimng for :P I'll fiddle with the proportions once the wires and neck brace are in
I think the face is 'very' male kite, altough its a great sculpt overall.
I think its the jawline and the chiselled cheeks that are 'lezzing' her up a bit in particular, but she does have a manly vibe overall including the hands and shoulders which are quite wide for a woman.
looks sweet sr.ferreira, did you hand draw the designs? I really like the humanoid image on the sides, breaks up the abstract line work and still manages to flow in

Tried Mud for the first time yesterday and now I can't put it down.
It is 4200 triangles and 2 1024*1024 maps (kinda an abuse I'd say but I'm following the competition specifications)
