More surface-detail than anything (and far too much of it in the latest sub-d), but i was testing how far i could take silo on this 512mb ram. Not very far, but at this level it was still very responsive.
edit: this reminds me that my viewport background is still far too bright. Let's darken that fucker up a bit!
psst... paste this into your post and your image will show up.

ubb code works here, normal html, not so much. cool bust btw
maybe I'll fix this guy up with a complete head next time I bring it back in to Zbrush.. I'm still trying to figure out how to export this stuff out and have it still look how nice it does in zbrush
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he post the exact same picture in another thread, where he was immediately slagged off for posting something so underdeveloped? Only to repost it here, perhaps thinking we'd be used to the look of it by now, and just maybe we'd have fallen in love with it in the meantime?
I Posted them both at the same time, just took them down. I wasn't trying to generate a massive discussion when I posted them, I'm just trying to get in the habit of showing more of my stuff. I realized I've been avoiding doing plain human heads and am working to change that. Please don't say I wont learn, I'm working on getting better.
I've been working on another head, I've spent more time on this one and used reference more meticulously. I'm using Bridgmans book as well as photos for reference. This one won't be posted until I've given it more polish.
Some quick one from me, bored so the same good old stuff. Did a Zscript for this one so i also include the usual box.obj i use, it is just a simple box but without all that edgeloops like the standard Zbrush one.

I really like that last sculpt, xysdf. You don't see something like that very often. Is he inspired by everyone's favorite frozen spacecraft captain, by any chance?
well thx! & the (maybeuninspiring) story for the last one:
i wanted to pull a bit more on my imagination so i started from a plane; gave him a bunch of face features that i experienced with the pencil recently; & just before finish i didnt like the hard edge from the plane so i started to give him that (notverywellworkedout) transition to the face>hour was over>post
who´s the "everyone's favorite frozen spacecraft captain"?
Did this the other day for kicks, but trying to get myself in the hait of showing more of my work, so figured I'd post it. About an hour and a half in ZB3 from a sphere, w/all subobjects either being made from spheres or mask extrusions:

CHEERS!!!
More like half an hour for each, and i didn't use Mudbox. The guy with the goggles was a quick doodle of a potential driver of my Fzero-racer
edit: Roo, squarebrush 4 life!
40 Minutes ... looks like someone needs to get faster

Still mushy on the neck. Its NOT supposed to be musculature, its going to be old saggy man neck. Loose skin?
Was a concept from the original dissonance project that I'm sure some of you remember. hehe
LOL!
*someone had to say it

(his) right eye is awful, but it's late and not worth tweaking.

Base box
Zscript
(right click-> save as)
I've upped the detail since that screenshot, but that's where it gets really difficult to keep a sharp look with flat surfaces.
30 mins off a base mesh.
edit: added some porkchops and a bit more tweaking
