I got told about this by my friend at work.
Its a new series where they perform autopsy on various animals.
Quite hardcore in some parts but i could see this being useful for animal anatomy students.
So far they have examined and Elephant, a Crocodile, a Whale and a Giraffe.
(This might only work for British residents and im not sure how long they will be up for as its a VOD service)
I watched a collection of videos of some (german?) dude dissecting a human. It was really quite interesting, he had a live nude model and an illustrator draw on the live model with some kind of pastels the muscles that he was seperating and showing. It was disturbing, but we all die someday and the cadaver had volunteered before his death.
Hey guys, I'm going to use this thread to make a question, instead of creating a new thread.
Ok now, we artists always have our reference folder right?
Thing is, that preferable you must have it with you at all times, at work and at your home computer. (Cos we're all workaholics and work at the office is never enough, and you always do stuff at home.)
Anyways, I ended up having a "References" folder on my work computer, and another on my home computer, AND another one on my external HDD, which is the one I use to transfeer the new stuff from a PC to another.
Now... this is a fucking pain in the ass to keep it synced to each other. Does any of you have any recomendation? How do you do with your refs?
I thought about using my ftp, and install some kind of automatic gallery, problem is that my ref folder is about 4 gb now.
How is flickr and other pic websites for this kind of stuff?
Oh... I watched the vid, this actually looks pretty cool!
Gonna give it a try.
Edit :: This is EXACTLY what I wanted! Works flawlessly!
Here's the link to the folder btw, if anyonewants to take a peak at it. (Still uploading more stuff atm tho)
Yea dropbox is awesome. You can even share out folders with other dropbox users and use it as a project server. It gets added to everyone account and keeps everything updated. That's what Vassago, Sefforin and my self are using for our Unearthly challenge and its working great.
Not sure if this has been posted before, but this website is really good if youre looking for clothing design inspiration. http://www.style-arena.jp/en/
