havent been able to spend much time with her, so only have had time to unwrap her and throw down base colors. Now she is down do 2100, i could drop her to 2k easy, but i dont feel like reunwrapping the hands. That and she doesnt need to be that low.
good idea, with it i added an edge loop for better deformation for the hips. That and i forgot to slsect the hair and fether planes, but with all the changes she is now 2200.
Actually a small peice of plating on the boot, even if it's mostly ornamental, that shared the same black and yellow lined scheme as the rest of the armor would help tie the torso in with the lower body.
Ye I agree about the shoulders. Her arms just have too much definition for a delicate woman, and then its not really anatomically correct so it just looks off. Since female body is so delicate, anatomy must be really accurate to get the curves of the body right
Anyways I think one of the nicest things from you so far Elysium. Keep it up.
i raped an older gargoyle mesh of mine to quickly create a little realtime shader-demo for an application at a local studio and this is a result of the process.
it's still missing a tongue and texture and especially hair maps are yet to be improved. will finish it in case the effort pays off
Modeled this today, space suit + military armor and a bit of cowboy. Huge thanks to Jon Jones for getting the most out of my edges. (so much to learn!) 1838 triangles
Elysium, do not listen to your critics! your pirate girl has beautiful shoulders. and what's more, this is no dainty damsel , it's a PIRATE LASS! she should have some beef on her! some girls are delicate, yes, but all women aren't made from the same mold (thank goodness).
@slaughter -
Nice "futureCop" you have there, like the helmet. Even if i dont like havy armory much, theres is a nice feeling of balance with the backpack. The tubes on models are a little overused atm - do you build a group of soldiers ?
If so i would like to see the tubes on a medic and maybe a laptop (backpack) for commandos - so you can call air support .
I guess its a little difficult to anim a crouch pose with the things on the back of his knees.
Remodeled that space suit guy I posted early. This time with a head, and slightly more realistic direction. 2260 triangles, heavy wip, still trying some things.
Oh, and this is what he'd look like as a bronze statue:
I second what CheapAlert said Renardin. You'd have been better off starting your own topic devoted to your mod's work.
But I guess for crits. The reddish soldier farthest on the right has an odd pinch on his torso where that symbol stands. The shoulders on that model could use a lot of work too.
The uzi model looks really well constructed, but the texture defines very little detail otherwise. It just gives the model a black and white colouration.
The tank is also a good model, but the area surrouding the turret looks very boxy, and those white outlines on the texture don't look like they belong there at all.
The walls and turret are okay, the textures seem very grainy and vague. The red zig zag on the walls also don't really fit, but I'm sure you probably have a reason. I noticed all of your mod's texture work seem to include that Scorpion tail symbol and are ultimately extremely dark. Perhaps a bit of variation?

Trying to remodel that old Trex boss from Turok 64.
Nathan Lange: that is AWESOME!
gaaah! deadline is looming and I feel like I'm trying to run underwater..
Been wanting to start work on this guy for a while. Here's a closeup of the body texture, the head texture isn't done yet.
Crazy. The image tag doesn't seem to work. Must be because of the crazy url.

Modeling some muscly guy.

The rest is okay.
