100% Procedural texture I made in Substance Designer 5 for a environment, that I am working on. I have more pictures of it on my Artstation if anyone is interested.
I would like to share with you the first asset for my texture/modeling reel at Think Tank Training Centre (www.tttc.ca). All the aspects were done by me. It was created with week by week guidance from my mentor Justin Holt and critiques from classmates and faculty. It was based off a physical Gas Mask that I own.
If you want to check more pictures and breakdowns, feel free to check my polycount thread:
Wow looks great man, how did you manage to make the cloth look so believable?
Keep up the good work!
Thank you, man!
It was basically using 3DScans from Surface Mimic and then building out of that. The process was pretty straightforward and the look development part does not take that long. The metal was way more challenging!
Working on a new UE4 scene. Very early days, still blocking a lot of stuff out, but doing a few material tests too. Entirely using Substance Designer for all my texturing, no Photoshop/Quixel at all! Guess the game

Hi Guys I am kind of new to the forum , Ive been working on this on my own and I would love to hear some critiques. I am using Unity 5 and DDO for the most part but I am also changing the textures a bit on PS. I will try to learn how to use Substance on my next project cause is amazing to see what people here have been doing
That model is looking better than the 'official' mesh of her. keep up the good work!
There is an official model of Syx ? This one is official too, I'm doing a print for Scratch and we're gonna sell it. And maybe some others if it works.
Tried set up a speed-model challenge for myself on the weekend (one model - four hours) unfortunately it didn't worked out as I thought.
The concept for the model was from the Starcraft 2 Artbook:
And that's how my model looks after ~ 5 hours of work:
Had some problems with the initial blockout which leads to a big delay.
But I will not drop the project, even after the "deadline" is over, this baby deserves a good model.
So stay tune for some progress during the next week.
