@Swizzle - she came out great! Thanks for bringing it back to the old school hand painted techniques - always great to see.
@scumworks - Cool witcher dude! I really like the softened look you achieved with him, I think you maintained a strong sense of character while changing up the style. Good job!
Swizzle - I love how it turned out buddy! One thing I would suggest is maybe changing up the pose a bit, I would make it more dynamic, she seems like a tough fighter but the pose isn't matching that.
Give the pose the love it deserves because the character itself is fantastic, well done buddy!
two minor things that hit my eyes: there´s a small gap between the collar and the jacket. Also the stitches on the boots are a bit too big and strong, if you ask me.
Pulling an old 3D scan of my wife out of mothballs to start on my next project. Going to make her into Pam from Archer. Not just plain old Pam, though; she's going to be pit fighter Pam.
xpost from Low Poly Thread:
I did my "first" stylized work

been told that I need to do some more color variation and I do feel a bit defeated at the fact I couldn't get the brush strokes to look right and like the concept from (they were pretty bad and feedback was remove em...so I did)

The Kingpin fanart. It was created under the impression of a comic book Punisher MAX. A side goal was training Zbrush and anatomy. Also I wanted to make something similar to the works of Adam Fisher and Zbro z. C&C welcom.
Really cool skull, mariomanzanares! I like the tooth you kept on the surface of the sculpt. Speaking of tooth, it totally depends, but i feel like generally the mouth might fall slightly higher (distance between teeth:nose vs teeth:chin). Just 2 cents, nice work!
your last char was super pimp, Swizzle! and yer already rockin on another one?? cant wait
I'm struggling to pretend i'm not a total slacker who never does any personal art
I really like the Phoenix Wright games, so I thought I'd try to do a fanart. Hope you dig it!
I did a video too in case anyone's bored! I finally tried my hand at Zbrush's timeline features (like 3 years late) It's pretty hard for me to get any fluid motion from it, but for minor flavor animation and wrinklemaps it could be useful!

Did this with PBR (gloss and metal maps). Any feedback/tips on how to improve this (without starting from scratch, hopefully..) would be greatly appreciated!

I think leather grain is too big and so are dents (they also are too random for my taste). Stiches could be more accurate. Soles are mushy for some reason. I don't know what this prop is intended for but if it's to withstand some close scrutiny the interior should be detailed too.
Hi guys, I'm cross posting from the Dota forum
I'm back with my dragon knight set after almost 5 months!
I was very busy with work so whenever I could put some hours on the model I did... I have usually kept the progress for me and some close friends after the hipoly pass... well, now I'm done I would say and I like to share the result with the community.
As I stated originally, this dragon knight is a bit of an homage to Dracul/Gabriel of the Lords of shadow games from Castlevania. He is a "Dragon knight" after all!
So long coat, mostly red leather and dragon horns all around.
The back story of Dragon knight works very well with this design as the set shows the legacy with the dragon that forged his strength with the knight.
anyway, I hope you like it! Soon I will finalize it with the extra materials and I will submit it .
Cheers
Beasty artwork in here as always guys, everytime I feel like im getting better I just get blown out of the water haha.:) Just wanted to share some of my current work. Making a dark elf from the Elder Scrolls as a piece of fan art. Hope you guys like it!
Here is a recent character I'm working on the present days. The model is completed and now I look forward to give him a game res geo and texture.
Hope you'll like it
A small scene of the moment Thomas Edison invented light bulb. I did it all by myself. Rendered in UE4. Please check out my website for more renders>w<~

This is my W.I.P Sky-pirate. The left has accidently gone stylized Diney-like, which is not what I wanted. I'm hoping to take the right hand one in a more 'JRPG' style. Sadly, I'm a scrub so it will take me a while to make anything worth a mention.
Also, I cannot do hard surface and hair to save my life currently.
Gday all, first post here, i'm going to try to be a little more active. I've always enjoyed going through the WAYWO thread so thought I'd contribute as well. This is a little zbrush + keyshot study I did
Real nice head Morii, you even gave him nose hair heh.
I tried projecting some photo's without a beard onto the skin but there's too much lighting information tbh, it's fun but I think I'll just paint it instead.
Ciao Davide,
is Stefano from Forge. Quite an impressive model man!
the material looks fantastic as well and in the last image really looks like a physical piece.
congrats!

hah! love this!
Umm...
The only thing that popped out at me...
Why does the shark have nostrils on the front face of the cube? Fish don't have noses...
Technically, they do.
