I am building helmet,maybe later will grow up in set, for Dragon Knight for Dota 2 , it is still in progress, i am in middle / ending of High poly model, so I wanna hear Your opinions,
theme for this build is an in-game item called "Satanic".I am trying to combine dragon nature of DK and Satanic's spikes to emphasize Dk's connetion to dragon that he slain and made dark pact with him. So my question for You is: What should I do next to make this mesh more appropriate for this theme.

Test render of a CG Dalek Model i've been working on for a while, Still needs some tweaking to make it look right. Anyone got any tips on making a good lighting set-up?
I improved a bit my character "Lena". I redid all the textures, this time in Substance Painter. However I'm still using only procedural noises. The only handpaint done is for a few masks.
Messing around with methods for creating a fireball effect in Unreal 4.

the weakest part i notice is clipping with the floor - recommend working out a crater/disc shape that conforms with the spheres boundaries to hide the intersection; it should strengthen the illusion of a shock wave
They could also use a depth biased alpha or something similar to soften the cut-off at the intersection. It's used often with wispy particles and clouds/smoke.
