@EricChadwick - that water shader is gorgeous! A model from my early days that I never actually got around to finalising properly - I still like it but it needs some retopo work and I really want to repaint the textures. So - retopo work today on the guards and tomorrow I will redo the carriage.
Crossposting I´m here again with another texture study. I watched a documentary about Aztec people and stuff and got an idea for this Substance Designer test. I wanted to go more stylized with this one.
Working on the War Rig from Mad Max... This project was bigger than expected.... Trying to texture with tilable so that the truck's texturing details can hold their resolution even up close. I realise the sand looks a bit crappy, (as most people think its rust) thankfully its a function so when I get round to improving it, it should just fix itself across the entire truck!
Feedback, thoughts and opinions are always welcome!
Hello everyone ! This is my first post on Poly count. This project is almost complete, A Low Polygon cabin with hand painted textures. I got this idea from one of my favorite cartoons. Portfolio- http://animatedheaven.weebly.com
Since I've started a new job that is pretty much purely technical I decided it was finally time to brush up on my facial anatomy studies again. So I've downloaded the freely available 3D scan of digital Emily and studied that a little before sculpting another head bust. I think I should have done this sooner.
Made a PBR pirate pedestal, real time, rendered in Unreal. 100% out of my comfort zone, but it was fun to try something different. Alternatively, you can check it out in 3D over here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/1LDLG
Still trying to figure out these forums.. Here's one I did over a few evenings this past week: Based on a concept by Garrett Hanna http://gh-graphics.tumblr.com/
made a female base mesh to speed up character modelling/sculpting process, think this is the first one ive done im confident in showing (previous attempts were horrid both porportionaly and topology wise), hopefully will also redo the male base mesh at some point. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/6v0kx https://www.artstation.com/artwork/obL1z [IMG][/IMG]

Looking good dude! The contrast on her face (maybe just the texture?) is a little too hot and seems to crush all your lights and darks, IMO.
Working on bringing Alucard into the current gen, and practicing a full game-ready workflow. Here's where he's at so far:
