Fred2303, your Whiplash is looking slick. One concern I always have with treating armordoodz anatomically is that the head sometimes feels a bit large to me once it's all armored up. I might be crazy, but have you tried scaling his head down just a tiny bit?
Rocket Brian, your lowpoly steamgirl is so incredibly rad!
Dantert, really love the dynamism on your Gully
and ugggh everyone else is amazing as well. It's always so depressing/inspiring to see what madness everyone's cooking
I finished a thing this weekend in a more typical anime-ish style. It's a fairly standard pose, but I did take inspiration from this although I dunno who made it :poly122:
I also did a timelapse if you want to watch me boringly slug away at super sped up speeds to keep you from falling asleep. I didn't really use any interesting zbrush features this time. It took around 7 hours over the course of a few random days this month.
High-poly and low-poly models of a Starship Officer. Created for Promethium Productions.
Software: 3ds Max for modeling and character rigging, Mudbox for sculpting details.
Funky Bunnies: Thanks mate! I absolutely love that sculpt too. Hell, a large portion of my stylized modeling reference is already filled with your work. I hope I can push my Zbrush work to your level eventually.
daelon: I'm diggin' that ship for sure! Spaceship design is definitely an artform in itself. I'm seeing a neat pattern in the front that looks almost like a call-back to snake head structure. Great work.
Finally went back and cleaned up a pretty old model I had lying around. The project he was made for may be dead, but at least he's up online now.

You made me remember something though. Art was something about what I liked and I did. I was too obsessed with technical specifications and challanges and contests and whatevers I forgot even that.
If I just liked iti I can go sculpt it as much as I want and make it look like how I want right ? Why leaving that and putting deadlines and specifications and then hating myself later for being unable to meet them ?
Thank you Star Skipper. You made me remember really why I got into this.
