Holy Shit! 3 Weeks. You are a machine! Great models. Are you planning to take those further.
Hah thanks, well I didn't planned to texture them, but my friends are trying to convice me to start on the lowpoly, so who knows, maybe something for the next polycount recap
Ooh and thanks
Made a few minor tweaks, and calling this guy done. Good practice piece, hope to transfer and improve upon what I learned when I move to my new environment I'm planning in the next few weeks.
I'm making a low poly model of Dragonslayer Ornstein from Dark Souls. A change of pace from the high poly stuff I usually make. This is a test render in VRay. I intend to scanline render the final one, however.
Now I'm working on making the textures, but it's not going so well. The smooth one was a quick test with a mouse during lunch at work. The second one took a bit more time, playing with Viewport Canvas, trying to give it the pixelated look. They're really not quite there yet.
This is where I am now, trying to go at it with a more progressive workflow. I'm not sure the pixelated look is going to cut it, so I'm trying to land somewhere in the middle of the above two. I also defined a palette to work with.
here is a character i did. painting him took 3 hours wich is substantially quicker because i did it in mudbox. usually i do it all in photoshop... its for our game http://www.indiedb.com/games/acaratus

Getting ready for GDC, so I touched this piece up and gave it a better render.
I decided to try out key shot, so I threw in a model I made not to long ago. It is some pretty great software from what I've seen so far.
