Hi guys
I normally earn a living through freelance concept art. I decided I wanted to make my own indie games too. I wanted to share art from my first project with you. It has been an amazing challenge and the game finally came out on iOS today. It was so interesting to be the art director (well whole art team haha) on a project. I cannot recommend the experience enough for anyone considering it.
Well enough chat. Here are some art bits and bobs from the project. In game art assets:
The protagonist
The forest animals
background objects
The guest heroes
The spirits

[DELETED PICTURES TO AVOID THE SPAM]
We are a two man studio and this is our first game so if you like it please do spread the word. Apologies for being a bit spammy
these look absolute great, have such a great cartoony feel to them
I was working the last few days on this little scene made with the idea to be used as a background of a side scrolling mobile game.
I'll add 2 vehicles on the road and make some fake building on the other side of it to create some more life.
After taking a small break out of it, I'll make what is left to do and make the texturing into Mari. Want to try the Elementrix approach for the texturing.
Probably end of the next week.
Hello everyone, I am gathering some "Audience Testing" data for an undergraduate essay. Please take a look at the animation and tell me what you think, its not totally finished but I need some feedback for the essay/report pronto. My intention is just to gather data and quotations so I am not willing to answer any questions about the animation. Furthermore, it would be very useful to me if you could include a mark between 1 and 10 (10 the highest, 1 the lowest) your occupation (e.g programmer, student etc) and any other details about yourself that you feel comfortable giving me. Thanks!
good lord I can't post this sculpt anywhere with out getting a bloody zoidberg comment
you have to admit. that dome shape is pretty much spot on. If you're really that bothered by the zoidberg comments you might consider rethinking the silhouette a bit.
Started on this a couple of days ago. Still have to add a bunch of alpha planes and stuff to get a nice fuzzy effect in a few areas, but it's coming together. Getting the fur to shade right is turning out to be a huge pain, though.
Took me about 3 small weeks to make these in my freetime, and they were A LOT OF FUN
