Hi everyone, first time posting here in this thread
Here are some shots of an environment I've been working on for quite a while now.
I've been getting amazing feedback and ideas from the community so one or two of you may have seen it already.
Now it's weeks from completion and so I'm showing it off here to hopefully get a couple of good critiques to implement into the final version
One of the latest additions to the scene where the cars, they are very low res but the final product will be a fly-through and the camera will never get that close.
Some of the things that are still on the todo list are, bust up the crash site some more, finish texturing some assets that are still untextured, add snow to the sidewalks and place some more small assets that give the environment character.
Woah there, harrad. Love how Rust look in your sculpt!
This is my latest WIP of my entry for comicon, but probably not gonna make it on time, even with extended deadline. I cannot keep up with my other activities.
My current work in progress based off the X-Plus Vinyl Gigan figure. Any comments or critiques are welcomed. And great stuff everyone, keep it up!

pixelherder - haha thats great, the wobbly hat looks good, and that render is awesome.
slosh - Really amazing work, I love the texture on the cape, everything is so clean
turpedo - those are really cute!
JimmyRustler - thats a really nice jacket! What character is it?
I've been working on this guy for a while now, not sure where to take it. Unsure about the overall silhouette, any crit greatly appreciated...
Way way way too big of a render. Took forever to load.
And it does a disservice, because it looks a lot better at a reasonable size than it does when you zoom in so far.

Some more progress on the Harry Potter fan work; I have been working on an ornate book to be rested ontop of the lectern (http://cghub.com/images/view/838949/)

Looking pretty good ! Some bits are strange though:
- the collar of the jacket have a funny bit that overlaps the button. Actually it should simply be a straight piece of fabric that folds on itself. Check out some trench coats for reference, should be useful.
- the boots looks quite funny... They are not really detailed in the concept, but this interpretation is not that convincing. Maybe try to copy german boots, or biker boots with a flat tip ?
- the fold of the coat under the belt looks a bit like he had something pushing under the coat.
Keep it up !
Nice book Scott !
Here's some wip on this hurting device.
Does the edges are smooth enough ? Please tell me here.
Hey guys! was just wondering if you could give me a quick crit for my Darth Daft Punk Character. The assignment is due tomorrow so any final tweaks or general notes would be much appreciated! THanks!
Hey guys! I was just wondering if you could give me some quick crit on final touches or general notes. This character assignment is due tomorrow. I know it's not awesome but its my second time creating a character. I'd really appreciate any crit asap! Thanks!
Hey guys!
This character assignment is due tomorrow. This is my second character so I know it's kinda shitty any CRIT on finishing touches or general notes ASAP would be greatly appreciated!! Thanksss!
So much great artwork here. Can't really compete but nothing will stop me from getting there one day myself. Heres my first ever likeness sculpt in Zbrush.
With help from the community and a mate at work I finally decided on a direction for this chap. Still needs a lot of refining but I feel like it is getting there.

Based on this concept! http://crrrutch.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/falcon-scout.html
Next time maybe consider posting a render with a reasonable resolution. 5000x6000 is a little overkill.
