Got caught up with lots of other things so I'm getting back to this. Current computer really can't handle sculpting much at this point so I'll probably just sculpt in small wrinkles or details later and Sub-D everything for the most part.
Got Skyshop so I'll be give that a test run with this model later.
Here is a model inspired by Deckards car from Blade Runner. It was a part of a two week assignment at the Playgroundsquad school in Sweden. Feel free to visit my own thread http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=129197 and give critique.
@RMeeks -- Looking really cool, the only thing that stands out is the lack of soot on the interior surface of the fireplace. Other than that, really digging the scene, I especially like the bone chair, very cool.
Amazing rock texture, leleuxart! It doesn't look like you made it from several ztools in 2.5d, how'd you get it to tile?
Hey guys, a little plug. I started a Polypaint thread that I think would be fun! I threw together a character using BADKINGs monster brushes to kickstart the thread.

I've been working on a modular house the past three days (UDK). It uses 2 materials so far, which are set up for vertex painting (but not in use yet - what you see is just the base texture). I'll make one more material for the windows and a door. Maybe add some detail to the trim too, as it is terribly bland at the moment.
Lightmaps are at a low 32 at the moment and will stay that way. I'll hide that stuff behind noise and with the vertex paint layers. Looking forward to starting the paint, I hope I have enough vertices for a good effect!
I'm doing this insanely cute ranger character. Its nearly finished but still needs some tweaking and cleanup here and there. Crossbow needs a bit more details as well. The girl will be printed once its finished.
Concept by Nico Geyer. Check out his site, his work is awesome. - http://www.nikogeyer.com/
Wow optinium, thats amazing, loving how clean it is. Well done.
Can't share what I am working on, but did this warm-up sketch this morning. Likeness (poor likeness) and a focus on the planes of her head. No detail what-so-ever, just a base, and a texture projection at the end.

Today's progress. I've worked on the head armor and fabric under it. I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Finished my sculpt. Sculpted and poly-painted with Zbrush.
love this! very stylized work!
Wall padding on a space station maybe?
First thing I thought when looking at this (apart from nice work ) is that it looked like one of those walls with frosted glass bricks/blocks in it.
x-post from here.
