Here's my latest render composite. I called it "Island City 2867". A city in the year 2867, it's been standing against the odds for a long time. Thanks for looking!
Hey all, just started this today( about 7-8 hours maybe) simple point by point modeling starting from cube, Based on concept by dmitrys.deviantart.com/
Seemed like a cool character to do so yeah:P, will be making a small alteration to the helmet lol, i don't like the light bulb look, so going to remove that bump.
lol i feel bad posting this stuff here with all the amazing work.
Cross post here.
Back to work from Chinese new year holidays. I'v added some skin details. Try to rebuild the chest hair and make a higher rez render. Hope you guys like~
I wanted to share with you our RSI "Next Great Starship" contest progress.
Phase one: Alien/Human weapon design. We made it into the top 16 and here is our design
Finally finished my first ever complete model~!
took long enough.. could've made 100's of others in that time i guess, but i wanted to get one that looked nice, which i hope it does...
It's 6963 tri's, which was well below my original estimate of 10000~
This is my work in progress sink scene I'm making. Still have quite a bit to do, but just wanted to show my progress, and of course, critique is encouraged!
Loving the work all hella epic and saucey, james damn it that came out great!

Been a while since i updated. Here is a painted up concept of penguin, its not finished. I still have to make a mask (see if it looks better with or without) and possibly a background and some story telling. great work everyone, have a nice evening
We are a group of student working on a mini group project. Dimension is a game that is a combination of 2D and 3D art style.
Genre: Casual Action Side Scroll Game
Type: Playable Demo
Engine: Unity
Right now, we are in the stages of finalizing the final colour palette of the level. We will be working on a ice cave theme with a level design concept as follows -
We really like Rayman & Trine art style and would like to try to achieve the style which is somewhere in between them.
We are currently done with blocking stage and have started texturing.
hey guys! just posting something i started yesterday and worked on for a while today during a live stream, trying to go for a mix of organic and hardsurface.
Started working on my take on Judge Joker from the Batman/ Dredd crossover Die Laughing.
Still blocking out the anatomy, a lot of his costume in the comic is pretty tightly fit so it's important that I get the anatomy right.
I've been working on this for a while and I feel comfortable enough now to show it. So, since everyone gets one, here is mine. This one is extra special to me at least since it really is mine. Nothing quite like being able to inspect your reference materials in person. It's still got a long way to go, and some things aren't perfect, but I'm (seriously this time!) actually sticking with a hard surface regiment. The weekly hard surface challenges have helped quite a bit, and hopefully I can actually start being more productive.

Was fun, but i need to plan it out better next time.
Happy 2014 Polycounters. Some amazing work already, I'm loving the skill level and how its pushing everyone constantly. I've been really busy with work lately but managed to get some personal practice in on some textures today. This one I posted for some crits:) Thanks
Working on a new guy in Zbrush, fiddling around trying to improve on things that I didn't like about my first proper sculpt, not really liking this guy that much either, any tips / pointers / crits would be greatly appreciated.

Dude; this looks fantastic. I recommend applying to be featured in the next vertex mag, if there is one, so I can learn your ways.

StandingMonkey - Comicon 2014 - Spawn
I feel like the rain is letting this down and muddying things up a bit. Looked stellar in the step prior.
So basically i've done this for the Orc constest on CGHub, but as i didn't save the process and all, this turn into a personnal piece.
Zbrush / Keyshot / PS
Still learning.
