Nice hand painted metal! Are you using PBR or standard Spec map? Been wanting to do some experiments with hand painted PBR metals.
I don't know what exaclty makes that something is considered PBR.
I did use the spec and gloss maps (not the metal and roughness) map in a PBR way where the diffuse map is black and the color comes only from the spec etc.
I also didn't bake any occlusion or lighting information in my maps etc.
But I did not use a chart of very specific value of Gloss and specular.
I was trying to achieve something a little bit less realistic so I was playing with the value etc to get the result I wanted
Dunno if I make sens!
That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the input.
When I first saw it I noticed it was getting that interesting sheen, but still had a stylized look. Very nice approach. It's subtle but still significantly unique.
Hey guys gonna do a process thread at some point but still waiting on all the final stuff back from the printers . Anyways, first shot of the prints from Ownage of my 40mm WFB Kroxigor for my very nerdy hobby XD.

Taking a break from Riot Contest, so i'm back working on my Clementine.
And since i took realism too much on my last sculpt, i decided to change the style into a realistic one.
A bit more work done on her head, hopefully still read as Clementine to you guys.
Will be using reference from The Last of Us character sculpt, but without those crazy ass detail, because i'm working on a med spec laptop.....:(
Any help is appreciated!
Here are some more animals I concepted .These are fully rigged solutions as well .Time to get these done was fairly low .The render is just a basic screen grab from zbrush .not really a worry to me as I know how it will render under maya .

Working on seeing what I can create fully procedural. No sculpt or hand painting. All with substance Designer.
And my attempt at cloth.

@MeshModeler -
It won't really translate well for the screen. It's just a big ugly mess. I'm planning to give it away eventually though.
Final pictures for my rover scene over at my thread. Glad to be done with it.

And rendered in UE4? O.O
Wow, would you mind sharing those substances sometime :O ?

U've probably never seen backwoods restrooms...low chance of electricity, no ceramics, no water supply. But there are doors.
do you have some specific question?
I actually feel like a noob with that kind of texturing, not too sure what you are interested about breakdown wise

Been working on this bad boy for a couple weeks, need to add some more details but I am pretty happy with the form of it.
