I never post in the waywo thread, but here it goes, finished me and Pior's Chivalry entry a couple days ago. I like how it turned out, was nice to get back into UE3 for bit, felt like putting on old pair of shoes.
WIP of the block-in of "Animate" for a Succubus Publishing mini. This dood is so bizonkers I don't even know what's going on hahaha!!
Any way! I hope to finish him soon! I'm having some fun trying to make this guy readable, hopefully he turns out okay!
Workin' on some cool renders. zBrush fibremesh doesn't want to merge, so I lose all of the hair on my guys face. Any workaround to this? Aanyway, thought I'd put out some renders in Octane.
Forgot to link this the other day, here's how I set up my lights in my sci-fi scene, using blueprints to control emissive/point/spotlights at the same time from one value.
Hey Thanks...... Nope. fiber mesh is not geo. Under the BPR setting for Fibermesh you can set the Subdiv Sides Radius values, which changes what you get in the render...but.... under the Geometry tab just under the "Reconstruct Subdiv" button there is a "Convert BPR To Geo" button that will take all of those BPR setting you played with and creates actual Geo, NOW you can export it as geo, If you don't convert the BPR to geo I think you just end up exporting curves or something.
Started this last night. Still working on it when I get time. Some oddities to fix and then detailing. He's a grunt. I plan on doing a Captain and then maybe Pose them.
Looks like there's some pinching on various parts of the stock. Might be better to show wips with a dark grey colour / high spec / high roughness / no background to see sub'd problems easier. If I see a thread or catch you on the hangouts I'll give more specific feedback
I'm doing an eotech sight at the moment too; different model though (xprs3)
@elementrix Not going to lie here, it looks great. Almost similar art to something along the lines of Legend of Zelda games like Windwaker(one of my many favs) Something about the setting here is awesome. Looks to be like an adventure game but it's totally awesome so far. I'm excited to see the outcome.
Hey guys, I'm working on a small Forest Maze Map for a Prototype of an Action-RPG Game for iOS. The "planned" format is similar to Zelda's or Dark Soul's mechanics. I'm currently focusing on creating the enemies and AI, I did create a simple draft for the code that you see being used in the videos (First one is a very rough draft).
Here's a trailer for our first mobile game! Colossal Defenders will be available on the App Store and Google Play early November 2014! This action packed arcade shooter features 3D generated sprites in a cyperpunk universe! Join Layna and defend the city against colossal enemies!
Some friends i worked with at Vigil Games are kickstarting a game, I made a zbrush bobble head that will be used to create a bobble head for some backers. Concept by John Mueller
