Just trying to get into the swing of thing post injury. Basic anatomy sculpt. Looks like they shut off my permissions to make new posts while I was away. Crits welcome! I'd like to get some opinions before I push on.
Sweet bark texture! Your albedo is very noisy though. Your're using the latest CE3 with all the PBR shading going on right? You're highlights needs to go and the whites are to strong.
How did you go about the sculpt? I myself tried to do something similar with every bark piece modeled out. Turned out shit. This looks like clayBuildup or something?
You have very high contrast in your scene so it's hard to say what's going on. Try to get something more balanced going for feedback purpose.
made a splitscreen 1v1 shooter thingy that you play using ps3 controllers for the Dreamhack hackaton, a 24 hour game making competition..
the lightning might be super dark on you pro-graphic artist guys screens since you calibrate it everyday before breakfast, but on my overbright screens it's all good ;D sorry if you can't see the animations and whatevs..
fairly happy with the movement, gonna build on that (uppebody aim controlled by right analog stick), use some world of warcraft models and make something similar but more polished for a demo...someday
@levus
Really digging that!
Are you guys based in Austin? I'm in Dallas and currently looking for a gig.
Don't usually like doing weapons, but I'm trying out a gun. I found a concept that looked fun.
A few polycounters have been helping me out on getting it where it needs to be.
@katzeimsack
Nice work! Love how he looks toony but still has some detail in the texture.
@Levus
Thanks man. Thought I'd ask. Nice looking character. I do agree with slosh.. the only thing that seems a little off is the pouches seem to need a little more weight.
Hey everyone! I was laid off from S2 towards the beginning of September (along with nearly half the dev team), so I've been working on getting my site updated after the past year and a half working. I wrapped that up earlier this week, so I thought I'd post some of my new professional and personal work.

Wow, awesome! This is the hi-poly version of Sion used to create the in-game model?
